Now before you start poopraman, I know I got my ass kicked this morning by a merc but that convertible is not a nice car. Again, it just looks dull, no nice lines and nothing to make it stand out in a crowd apart from no roof. For that amount of money, I want every fooker to look at me and say 'that bloke has got more money than sense'.:slap: :slap: Now I can look at some BMW's and say there OK, like the new Z8, nice lines..:)

All these comments are all true but it still pizzes you off to the max, they are the most ugly looking cars, apart fromt he new primera that I have ever seen. And side by side, I know which I would choose! The merc, then sell the sack of 5hit and buy a very low milage mint 99 spec zed and tune the fook out of it!!!! Then go find another CL600 and kick its ass!!! I think I could have had him off the roundabout but I was in 3rd when I wanted to be in second, bloody auto!!!!:p Really peed me off though, never been beaten before, even the tuscan struggled (I think he would have won long term though)

Now there is one typ of car I hate, Mercs, cant bloody stand them, there for old farts and they all look shite, even the new SLK's. I got beat this morning by a CL600! Man, this thing went like a rocket so when I got to work all pi55ed off, I went into the merc site and this thing is a, wait for it (fook me!) V12 5.5l 500BHP + 800lbs torque Twin turbo Its a fooking monster!!! I thought the ZED was a biggy!!!!:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :confused: They do cost £92,000 for the basic though!!!:cry:

Had it back about 4 weeks now from the gearbox shop and have been driving it far too much so have garaged it away for a bit. Fuel costs and all that, the fiesta works out a bit cheaper!!!!! I live on the irthlingborough road, welly at the moment but am moving to Melton Mowbray over the weekend. Where have you seen me in the Zed? Hey, those vents that james has had done are the ones that I want! Kinda like XK8 styling, I need it doing badly as when the car gets too hot it starts missing..... Where did james get it done and how much did it cost????:)

Guys, Put the car through the MOT and it would seem that the o/s rear tyre has a stress fracture on the inside. The tread seems to be coming away from the tyre and quite rightly so, they failed me on it. Its a dunlop 9000 sprt, £200 worth of tyre?!? Is this a common problem as the tyres are only 9 months old and have about 25% tread left. The n/s rear has a tear on the outside so I am replacing the two. I got two 255/35/18 for £360 all in, dunlop 9000 sports to match the front two. Is this a good price???

Nah Lee, I used to drive those roads every day, I know exactly where the cameras are! Felt really good though as the difference in power between these cars is unbelieveable, I diddnt beat him, I aniahalated him!!:D

Going to TRAX about 12 ish yesterday dinnertime, going down the A43 towards Silverstone, I pulled up behind a scooby. He obviously thought that the 300ZX isnt capable of much and started to accelerate! Caught up with him very quickly and stayed behind his arse all the way up to 120mph and then we came to a left hand uphill bend. So, as you do, decided to floor it, 145mph round the outside of this scooby, out cornered him (not sure how) but totally kicked this scoobies ass!!!:D :D Funniest part was that afterwards, bout 2ish, I was wondering around silverstone and the scooby owner went over to TONYC and had a chat with him about how he thought his scooby was quick, and how he just got his ass kicked to kingdom come!!! Another win for the 300ZX's!!! WHOO HOO!!! My heart was beating like mad, I wasnt sure whether it would stick to the bend.:D :D

What Operating system are you running? I have a Windows 2000 administrator password reset disc. Bets thing since sliced bread!!! If u want a copy let me know.

Personally, I think the I/O on the board must have seen better days. Seen this a few times before. Go buy another board, try it, if it works cool, if not then take it back anbd say yours wasnt faulty, their normally pretty good! Also, its a chance to upgrade the the next generation of motherboards as all your other components should fit, as long as there not ISA?!?:D Boards start from around £50, so their not that expensive. Looks like you dont have much choice stuart....:( :(

Mine has been on the back of a flatbed too 3 times since April. I guess these cars age is starting to make them unreliable.......:(

Actually guys, I have fixed about 200 pc's with dialling problems and internet connections. This is the blaster virus. Visit http://www.symantec.com, download the relevant virus removal tool and run this. At least then you can eliminate this from the equation. I work for Travis Perkins, and we have loads of AS400 dialup connections, this virus caused many connections to terminate prematurely.;) Hope this helps.

:D :D :D :D Nah, honestly, I hardly floor it, I like riding on boost but not flooring it, I feel like I'm hurting the car!:D (I Need help!!!):D It doesnt seem to matter wether I do give it some or cruise, I alwys get arounf 150miles+ to a tank. I do have a strong smell of fuel whenever I start the car, I have checked under the bonnet but I'll be buggered if I can find it?!? I must have a major fuel leak then, or the cars running rich as buggery! Yeah, def be good to get back on the road!:)

Hi Tony, yeah your right, I dont have many 'friends' down here, there all back in Melton, so whenever I want to do anything on the weekend, it means travelling back up! Thats 150mile round trip and thats £45 in the nissan! Be good to get back amongst friends, although I will miss the journey back at the weekend, if u know what I mean!:( Also gotta learn to cope with my own company which I hear is a delight once u get used to it!:D :D

Guys and gals, It would seem like lady luck has shone on me at last, as it would seem I am to receive some inheritence from my fathers will, and its a fair sum! This will allow me to get the car back next week rather than next month from VMTP who still want £1051 of me for the gearbox rebuild! Other changes are that I have split from the new missus after just 3 months so not gonna be buying a house and am moving back to Melton Mowbray, my home roots! So, gonna rent for a bit which = More cash = No zed going off the road! WHOO HOO!! Sorry, really chuffed, as things with new missus went shi*e and I am bored driving the Fiesta now!:D :D :D :D Bout time things chaged for me, had a really crap year so far!:(
