I think that even though this is an enthusiasts board, only about 5% of us on here wouldnt trade the 300zx in for anything else. Just ran that test from work, we run on the JANET(Joint Academic NETwork) link and the speed tested out at 6664kbps....whoosh!!! Thats through3 hardward firewalls too!!! I could do with that at home.... :)

I can empathise mate, totally....I used to have savings and a decent bank balance, the Zed has taken that away and got me in double figure K debt.....thats how much its done me. Even now its off the road as my Drive Plate is worn and its knackered the torque convertor neck, allowing oil to leak! :( Anyway, it will be converted to manwell now, had so much sh1t with the auto even after recon'ing the box and TC last year!! SIGH!! I do love it but when one thing controls your life, you do start to wonder. I would never sell it as I cant justify it but it has amazed me how much it controls your money.....my finances revolve around this car TBH....the question is, is it a good thing? All my friends and family think I am mad, its ALWAYS the topic of conversation at a get together, ....and my missus wants rid..... :cry:
