Stock Rear Speaker Brackers
I need to some stock/oem rear metal speaker brackets to house 6x4 speakers. Anyone have any or a breaker that doesn't need them anymore? Cheers

Hid lights
Where to go for a more expensive kit though? I only know eBay and my last set was from dta!

Hid lights
Just the one. Definitely the ballast too as I tested with a known working bulb

Hid lights
Cheers mate - though they are just ebay jobs as well I see. Hard to tell them apart so not sure I want to go with the same tbh... - - - Updated - - - Chinese seller on ebay mate. I'm sure they will but I already changed a bulb with them and kind of want to just get a decent product rather than keep switching out parts

Hid lights
Where did you get those HIDs from? My ebay jobs have died already - very annoying.

Car Show at Stafford Sun 31st August
My first ever time behind the wheel of a car was on Seighford Runway with my dad! Back then it belonged to some old lady that charged us £20 for about 2hrs of access to do whatever we wanted!! Been trying to think of the name for years as always fancied taking my mates up there with some cones and seeing what our cars could really do!!

Insurance - Keith Michaels
Finger in the air when you go for insurance quotes. I didn't try FJ this time around but find that due to the level of modifications I have, I'll likely never get a quote as low as that. If I did, I'd be worried about the 'real' level of cover I was signing up to! Flux are a joke though. Always have been.

Exhausts
Any vids / clips of the sound they give off? And from your post I'm assuming that a joined up mid section is better? Any draw backs of it being joined up?

Exhausts
Which exhaust gives the nicest tone? And how much difference do they make to power - negligible or material? Also where does one go to source these? First time I've considered a new exhaust so completely clueless! Iv'e got the SE pipes on mine that came with the car but I've never really liked the sound. A bit too quiet for my liking unless I'm gunning it and even then I don't really fancy the sound they make. Can only remember FunkySi's Veilside pipes and they sound pretty good. What'e everyone else running?

HID question - balast on its way out?
We went for 55s too....but I have realised how dirty my lenses are so they really do need a clean to make the most of these

How much are my seats worth?
If anyone wants to sell their good condition seats, I'd be very interested. My drivers side one is quickly turning into a metal frame and passenger one is not electric!

HID question - balast on its way out?
Joel and I recently bought these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360958257557?var=630305422525&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 So far so good though I think what my lights most need is a good clean!! I'd add that we both had problems with the first order in that they sent the wrong parts but they were very quick to resolve and no additional cost so I'd recommend them

Brands Hatch video
Cheers Graham. The weather couldn't have been more perfect mate. This was the first event of my birthday week so get off to a great start! Dan - I have a 1997 CBR900RRV. Believe it's 918cc. Here's some pics from the trackday itself...

Brands Hatch video
Thought I'd post up a video I made of my bike track day at Brands Hatch a few weeks back. The footage was taken with a pro HD cam that I hired for two of the sessions as I didn't take my own GoPro this time. People who've seen Tron will no doubt get the reference. Password is “brands" https://vimeo.com/102378265

Insurance - Keith Michaels
Cheers for the comments guys! I did end up going with Keith Michaels. Will wait to receive the paperwork - told it would be by tomorrow! - and go from there but so far so good. Saved myself £60 on the lower renewal premium quoted by Sky so I'm happy! I tried A-Plan last year and all seemed well but I never heard back from them with a quote after spending quite some time on the phone going through all my details. Didn't call back this year. I had Lynbrook on the list last year but didn't think to go call them this year. Flux - I have absolutely no idea what planet they're on. Every single year I get a quote from them and every single year I laugh my ass off as I hang up and go somewhere else. Garaged car, limited mileage, 10+ yrs NCB, clean licence and no claims, 32yo and still comes in over £1k. Finger in the air insurer if ever there was one! My bike is actually insured with Equity Red Star but I didn't go through Fluix which is maybe why it was a reasonable quote - no 'Flux Markup'!

Insurance - Keith Michaels
Yea, saw that too. They seem legitimate and I did a search on here and they've had a few mentions but was a while back and no reviews as such. Think I'll go with them anyway. I'm actually very impressed by the people I've spoken to this year on my renewal search - they all seemed to have a good grasp of spoken English and could form legible sentences. A stark contrast compared to last year, including Sky, who I ended up going with. Promised myself I wouldn't stay with them past the 1year mark hence the move.

Insurance - Keith Michaels
Does anyone have any experience of Keith Michaels for their Zed insurance? I'd never heard of them but a google search brought them up and at the moment they are my lowest quote so tempted to go with them. Initial sales service seems good but then sales always is. Any feedback good/bad?

Great pics Andrew! So I see you've figured out my secret plan! haha...

Engine Tapping
Correction on what Si said (I only just noticed the posts) - I added lifter treatment which seemed to solve the problem but I haven't yet changed the oil. I am planning to do it asap now though as the tapping came back briefly over the weekend. Very odd in that it wasn't there on cold startup, developed half way to the shops (10min drive?) and disappeared by the time I came home again. Anyway, on Opie Oils right now to get supplies.

Convoy to "Simply Japanese" - Beaulieu from SE
Just a note to those in the convoy....I'll have my Go Pro attached to the roof so if you see me...make sure to drive a little slower and give us a wave so we get a nice clear shot of you! The batteries don't last too long but if I'm around others I'll make sure to keep recording! Hope to get some good footage of lots of lovely cars!
