Hi Andy , just seen your thread about your engine. Sorry its shot. Dont know if you are sorted yet? There is a place in Hythe kent who sell low milage jap engines, with 3/6 month warranty. Sorry but in the cannaries at this moment & do not ave there tele No! Andy Z might be worth a shout on the traders forum. He also lives in kent & might know the first place I mentioned. Sometime ago I think Luke at Z centre could supply & fit a whole engine for 1500 quid! There are other options open to you too. You could put up another thread asking for more help. U might only need a top end, and not a whole one. Hope this helps a little. Arthur

Hi Si I had to replace both hicas link arms, 56 quid +vat nissan dealers! Think you need to do both and I do not think bleeding the rack will sort it out. Arthur

Hi dave that whole cluster is held on with two srews underneath. I am assuming the replacement part was reading before you did a swop? If its electrical have you checked fuses too? Sorry maybe not a great help.

First I would like to thank Ryan for helping me change this. I am past the halfway stage! Last night I connected the two metal pipes to the matrix, warmed up the engine let it run for 15mins NO LEAKS!! :) I removed the dashboard for this & there are two screws that are impossible to see if you attempt to change the matrix without removing the dash. One screw on the top matrix pipe. The other is the top screw that holds the plastic side cover to the matix, its at the back, right up at the top and its in a recess, there are 5 screws that hold the plastic cover in place,4 you can see. All I have to do now is put everything else back! Dashboard, plastic heater pipes,dial cluster, all clip sensors,all conecters for the cluster, glove box, cd & radio, centre console! Oh & things I took off for no need, heater fan, cover of air con & loads of clips all on the passengers side! FFS is it all going back? Well Ryans says it will!! :bow: Arthur

Hi rc951 No idea about cost of getting it done. Try a local metal work or engineering firm. That £230 is part for the polising part plenum.

Hi Cos 55w bulbs are the norm & normal means shite! Most want to upgrade which is easier on uk than jap cars. IMHO I would sort out the reason for misting up which is not the norm, water is leaking in somehow.

Bought my TT auto H reg nearly 3yrs ago, paid nearly 6K! Thought it was the biz! After 12 months auto box failed. Repaired £1400! Before this MOT & bill of £500, set of tyres ontop £500. one minor & one major service plus another two oil changes £300. Oh! & 23K milage in petrol costs! 3K um! get a 200sx.

Hi Craig, as Andy said the headlights are a sealed unit, that means your seal in the unit has failed, I think this means a replacement headlight. AndyZ is your best contact for a replacement I think. Or someone on the forum might ave one to sell you. Arthur

Hi GEHARRIS Steve is right about the switch, it adjusts the off & near side mirrors. Did not know they were heated though!
