Part Co do brake pads that do not squeak. Q/Hazel do pads to I think as well. If you have upgraded brakes then they are going to be more expensive. The shim kit will cost more from nissan! Arthur

I had this on my VW, matrix is a common fault & the windsceen mists up! Several members have changed them. 300zx.org.uk or TT net I think give you the gen on how to do it.Or do a search! With my VW I took all the dash & heater controls out as the matrix is in the car under the dash at the bulk head. Good look I found it a PITA! Arthur

My central locking on my key thingy is not working! C/L still works with key. I have also noticed that when I set my alarm & c/l usually all my four indicators would flash once & doors would lock. Now when I set alarm & c/l only passengers side indicators front & rear flash once & doors do not lock! :confused: Where do I look, where are the fuses I need to look for, whats going on! I hate electrics. At least you can hit mechanical things with a hammer! Any ideas appreciated from my poor vague discription. Arthur

I am with the RAC & have been for past 9 years. Well pleased with them. I live in folkestone & visited sister in torquay. Whilst visiting I broke down on A38 Plymouth road auto box failure! RAC picked us up on low loader & back to Torquay. Next day RAC picked car up & took it to a local transmissions firm. Or the night before they offered to bring car & me back to Folkestone! My RAC comes with my insurance company & its called club gold. Covers home start,relay,road assistance,overnight accommodation & european recovery too! Arthur

Second car v/good idea mine is a micra. Z is wide, too wide for me in my garage to open the door without it hitting wall & getting out comfortably. I push the targa top over, window down and climb out over the door! How stupid is that!! Arthur

91 UK TT AUTO! Never had an auto before my Z. Driving manuals cos it is fun changing up & down gears feels good! Always had the impression autos were "boring". Oh my god! how wrong can one get!!! Auto's? who friggin wants an auto there for old farts & grannies!! WELL my ZX auto is friggin GOOD I mean VERY GOOD!!! keep your manuals & if you like manuals get a manwell. Arthur

Ive got a question? I have a UK TT auto 91 with 132k miles. All past MOT's and two previous owners. I am really very impressed that imports have so little milage on them! I know the japs are smaller than us, so is Japan small too! I will look this up. Also I hear that there are restrictions on thier roads limiting their milage use per year? Are the garages like Z specialists out there? Or are they all NISSAN dealers! Why are imports all around 10 years old? Do they pass a yearly MOT after the 3 years or what! And who translates all this Japanese documentation for the potential buyers?? Just curious :rolleyes: Arthur

Other drivers give me more respect when I drive my Micra! Even my partner notices a difference when she drive the Z to her Citroen! Arthur
