  1. Is this added cost from the imports authority in the uk? They charge you on the amount the company insure the goods for shipping. You can phone them up and quiery the charge. Have you already paid? I ordered some prints from USA cost £40. when they delivered them to me the importers wanted to charge me £233!FFS took me 2 months to get my prints with nothing to pay in the end Arthur
  2. Hi Thanet I did 23000 miles first year of ownership with no probs. If like some I had only driven the Z at W/ends & done 3/4K a year that would equal over 5 years trouble free car. Since this was one & a half years ago, I have now got bills over £6K!!! Recon autobox New engine/rad/brakes,pads & discs, even the tyres wear out fast! I aint no mechanic too boot! Arthur

  4. Hi If the sump has been dented & pushed up, which it looks like from the pics best not drive car and change sump. You can definately take sump off without taking engine out. When my engine developed a problem (big end knock) the chaps at the garage dropped the sump! Saw it with my own two eyes. Arthur

  16. Hi Eddie Hows it all going & what have you decided? Paul, not wishing to take info off Eddies problem Luke at Z Centre sell the CD manwell cost about £15 if you keep your Z you are going to need one for help & advice. The best place for help is this site! Arthur
  17. First pipes to check would be the two matrix hoses at the back of the engine & bulkhead. These maybe in the wrong area but are the easy ones to see! After that looking further down at turbo hoses or back of engine. These are a mix of metal & rubber hoses. Other thing if you cannot see it when engine running & hot you will need a compression test on water system. Hope it helps

  19. I paid more for rear shim kit than the front shim kit! Rear kit cost me £42 front kit about £32 A bit peeved as the rear pads only cost me £27! Arthur

  23. Hi Front ones are very easy to get off & replace. Any local engineers will press out and replace your fronts for £10. Unless you have a fly press at hand. Dont know what the other ones are like! Arthur
  24. Hi Mike I have just looked at the manwell This is what it lists 1. Remove oil filter & bracket 2. Remove engine rear gussets both sides, looks like a shield in the manual. 3. Disconnect A/C tube clamps 4. Disconnect steering column lower joint ect ect Dont know if that helps, do you not have CD manual from Z centre? Arthur
