Hi all, Ive fitted a tail light, only I cannot get bulbs! (3) I think. My nissan dealers cannot get them! Any ideas please. Has anyone fitted fog lights? That fit Zs. Like, where to fit them(I know the front,doh!) Where the switch goes or do I fork out £180 squid nissan want to fit um. Arthur

Hi Mike, Yes it is in good condition. My old engine had a big end failure! After much talk decided replacement a good option than recon. If interested I will give andy a buzz as to cost it up for you. will give him call sunday 7.

Hi all I have now found problem No one. Big End Failure! Just had complete engine change!!! S--T Loads of dosh!! Now my old engine is up for grabs at £500 turbo's, heads and all other bits on it! 01303854410 or i evening 01303244137. Going to Brighton on the 23. See some of you there on Sunday.

Ive used Mer polish which came to me highly recommended. It is expensive not sure about cost or how it compares to autoglym. I would not use T cut! My Z in garage Monday engine out look at whats knackered. Good time at Billing some Great looking Zs!!

Hi Paul, would be interested in engine fan cover, the bit that fits to the back of the radiator. ART.

Hi Fas, I aint no mech! Is the leak at the back of the engine? Cos I had AA out to my Z with a leak and he was unable to see anything, turned out to be a hose at the back! probably useless info for you! Good luck. ART. one sick Z on my hands too!

Hi Aaron, thanks for the advice. Dont want a quick duff joby done on my Z! I do have a garage for the car, with no space around & no lift! My expertise is not with cars ! Have spoken to a guy called Justin at TORQUE IC in Ashford he is going to look at it for me. Sounded like a good Knowlegable chap. Get the car up to him week Monday. He says then look at the options! Hi WillieO Thnx for advice, fits wat u say. Garage said big or little end. Billing out 4 me in Z then. Can big ends be done dropping sump on Z then? Sounds better than engine out! Not a boy racer! Engine can cope with 3/4 thuo rpm all day. ART.

OK! I can live with my alarm & c/lock not working. Garage says engine sound NOT GOOD! They say not big ends more like Little Ends! S!!!, b!!!!!ks, f!!k! So any suggestions welcome about what to do next? Desperate or what! Should I scrap it? Swap it? Get a ford(no way!) get a life! or get a wife! Any one close by that would like to help! Hi ygb, Ive used garage car wash & jet wash with no probs. Just standard things like radio off, if elec antenna. Make sure the targa tops are water tight! Ive not had any parts come off. Mine is standard ZX TT. I do wash the car by hand too!! ART.

I took a look under the pass-foot well. Two big elec control boxes there! not look like add on alarm box. Will look under centre console, any one! whats best process? My Z's an auto.

Hi scoobydoo, I own a 91 H reg (private plate) auto TT half engine replaced & over 4ks worth of engine work done when I got it 2 years ago. Unmarked interior, unmarked paintwork! cost 5k. Since ; Auto box failed! Nov 02 £1400. 8 tyres £100 each! new rad Jan 03 £200 not incuding fitting! All other reciepts like sevicing £1K or more! 18MPG! These are expensive to keep & love like alot of these guys do. I consider myself level headed, until I bought the Z! I would want a newer shed for that sum!!!!! You need indepedent expert advice. LOOKING AT ALL THIS TECH STUFF SET ME WONDERING, DO I HAVE AIR CON? I KNOW IT SOUNDS STUPID, SWITCH IT ON & THERE YOU GO! ALL THIS ABOUT YOUR GAS STUFF & I'M NOW QUESTIONING IF I GOT AIR CON. 91 Z AUTO WITH AUTO AIR CON ON DASH! SO IS THAT IT I HAVE AIR CON. HOW LONG BEFORE I FEEL COLD IT GOES DOWN TO 10 & UP TO 40! I KNOW NOTHING!!!! :confused:

not a cv joint or trans vibration, still happens when still. not had centre console out yet is it a simple job? bottom belt on engine v worn.

problem one!- My Z is fitted with a SERPI STAR alarm any idea as to where the control box & fuse box are. Centrl locking not working with it & it should! No 2 - Ive developed what appears to be a big end rattle on excelleration! Oil pressure OK. and it goes away as auto goes to top gears. Just completed 450 miles this weekend. problem not got worse or engine not seized yet. could it be cam belt ? I'm not a mechanic! Maybe take to garage. Tick over ok too if that helps. thankful for any ideas.:confused:
