I think my bonnet catch squeaks will try a bit of tape! Talking of turning the music up, my music box is original Nissan tape/radio/cd. Seen better days. Halfords are doing a 12 CD/tuner JVC for £149 from £199 has anyone seen this & any comments about the quality of this system?

Hi chaps Got the bulbs £1.49 from halfords. My local Nissan could not find or have them listed! Nice mover with great curves. What section in the manual is the female bit B19rks? Very nice. Now whats the best way to wire the thing up? My loom appears not to have any conections for it!

I have fitted a centre brakelight! My problem is, it did not come with bulbs. Will someone be kind to me & tell me where I can get the bulbs from!! (it is off a Z!)

Ok then! Think I wll get them fitted by garage first to see if that doe's the job. Will e mail Luke at Z centre cos Im damded can get him on the fone!

Hi Vijay would a G clamp do the job?

Oh forgot! Do I change ALL the bushes, or just the tension/compression arm bush.:confused: Cannot contact Luke at Z centre! Is it not a diy thing changing bushes?

Hi Simmo Thanx for info will change bushes first. Always torque wheel nuts! Ben on the brakes side I ordered mine from Strano Parts but you can get them from B19rks or Z centre I think. I would speak to them first My pads for your info: AXXIS PBR metal master, semi-metalic. Front only $55 + $38 shipping took 10 days! I also had to order one set of shims from nissan £20. Think you can do better with help from this forum though. Job EASY if I can anyone can. You saw Vjays reply thats what I used!:)

Changed front brake pads last week great! Old ones naff! I still have got wheel judder on braking!! Naff Naff! Going to change bushes with poly ones and should I do front discs as well? Think I get poly bushes from Z centre? & discs from Berks? My discs look okay.

Hi rc sorry to hear about your Z I had to replace my engine last month! As advized to fit 2nd hand low miler. Has 3 months warranty.Total cost 4k! I nearly went for another car!!! Good luck Arthur

IMHO I would not blow 30k on a car! Unless!!! You would not miss it at all! If that be the case then my imagination runs wild!:D

I have just had a complete low mileage TT engine placed in my Z. My question is this ! Is there any difference in spec in the engines from a UK to an Import? Is this a dumb question :confused:

I had my auto box reconed last year, cost £1400. Theres been alot of talk about manual V auto. My Z is the first auto I have owned & I will not go back to manual!

I know its been asked before & I will get called thick to put it mildly! With the evenings drawing in! So can I just simply buy and replace my 55 Watt bulbs to 100 Watts without blowing anything up or burning any wires out!! And if its that simple why the Fxxx dont they fit them in the first place? NEED HELP!!! Got new shim kit cannot get 300zx org on line! so help please. On each pad which order do the shims go? Ive 3 for each pad & wer do I put copper greace Shims are one shiny metal tappered one metal with and slats one carbon Just taken oldpads out & only had the one shiny metal one fitted!

Bushes what bushes? Out for 15 mile drive fine first 5 mile up motor way 5mile hard braking ok medium & soft braking Judder as time progressed same responce medium brake most judder mainly left side think! got to go playing squash in 15 mins!

So do they just warp! is this a norm for a Z. Never ever had a warped disc on any other car. Never had a Z before though! This could be more work! Want to take car to Germany on the 1st Oct. New engine sounds sweet though!

Cheers Rich! do you think getting new ones a waste of time. If I clean the old shims & copper grease um? Think it makes sence really! If me pads are worn would that cause my brakes to judder as this has just started to do. Worse at higher speed no judder from below 20mph. Or are my discs in need of changing?
