No sir, dont know how to do! Sorry Jaffa Im a clinician not a mechanic! But better start somewhere. I know it has been running rich as exhausts are black! The coilpacks are they individual held in place by looks like 10mm bolt? Im thinking theres six! right?

I Know its difficult to diagnose a ruff engine when you cant see it or hear it! Last week for no reason car started but was running ruff on idle. Set off engine seems to vibrate but goes & less vibration when foot off the gas. Took it for a run Sunday starts no problem still running ruff no missfires. bangs or rattles. Put foot down, no kick down just a steady pick up of speed, like running on 5/4 cylinders? Back home no smoke from exhausts just the same running unsteady, no just ruff!! at a 1000RPM no rise or fall. No cooling problems no wiffs or puffs of smoke, oil pressure water temp all ok? Why all of a sudden? not change or tampered with anything, not wet, MAF cleaned air fillters clean. All connecters clean! My discription might be useless & sorry if it is but any ideas as to the cause? this appears alot of nothing looking at it now!

What sound advice from all!!! At 18 I was driving a Morris Minor with girlfriend ended up in a field, the opposite side, facing the wrong direction!!! Good thing about that? No oncoming traffic, no ditch, no lamp posts, no curbs, no road signs, no trees or hedgerows! BUT thats 40 odd years ago! That aint going to happen today in 2014 as our roads are very much diferent now! Every day I encounter bad drivers with bad driving habbits & I dont drive that far, drove my Z to the surgery (6 miles) & back. Not daily though. I would go for MX5 great fun car too. Good luck whatever you decide to do.

Hi Lee, I have Jap import & converted KPH to MPH U need a converter & Jef TT explains how 16 April 2014, Here's mine! This changes your readings to mph & stops the bling! Just photo the reading & I got mine on MOT same time. Hope this helps Art

Um! Would like to know why so fixated on the rise in the price of ur Zs? Didn't get my Z because of price! I imported it because it looked clean & tidy Keep ur UK model but my grey import is great! I paid £6000 for a UK model ten years ago! U get a ukZ for £6000? Ur avin a laugh Love my import love my Z! Don't care it's a Nissan! It's a great looking, boy racer kick arse car! Lovin it!!

IMHO I dont think prices have done anything! In britain we are badge snobs! I dont care about the price of my Z, only if it goes wrong:scared: Sure its not a Lambo or a Ferrari, but it gives me a great deal of pleasure:) & when we take the Z out how many glances do we get? Ive not seen another Z in Folkestone for more than 6 months! But seen 6 Ferrari's in that time:yes:

Sorry I do not know what rear spoiler is on my Z? I just prefer the lower rap around type. It may well be a Navan type as Joely has said.

Hi, my MOT advisory stated this steering arm (HICAS) had slight play. I have one to fit. Can someone tell me if I then need the rear steer alignment tested? Four wheel set up is it a Nissan dealer job?
