Wanting to try & replace Perspex strip on wing mirror? Or might have to replace wing mirror! Any help appreciated. Length of strip is 18cms

Just checking my old records when I suddenly had a misfire. SVA did a compression test on my engine. 125 - 130 when my car was on 119k kms. I think that's pretty good at the time but I hadn't noticed! Z on 135k kms now! I think this equates to 2,500 miles a year.

Thinking of changing my compressor. Are there 2 types? My Z is a Jap 91 TT Any advice welcome. Art

Just been looking at the time I saw my z in Japan Feb 2014. Paying for the car & shipping arriving in Southampton in May! Docs for it was a service log/ user guide/JAA U-car Grading Report. All in Japanise :confused1: & some more paper work too! I must add the company I bought the Z off were very very helpful.

I have just come across a machanic in Hythe that is a petrol head! He is going to change my Autobox on the 19 March. So Alic I will let you know how it goes & if ok I will go to ace cafe meet. I've seen his garage & work stations & I was impressed! He is also going to change the filter. Art

Picked up an automatic box from Ted this weekend,. He cut this cable for the connector,. It goes into the auto box,. Can this be replaced?

Hi Jeff, seems to be a spot on diagnostic. Looking at the compressor aspect! Not a DIY job? Replace it? Can it be repaired ? Could it be a regas problem first?

Hi Mindus, I had a power steering pump problem & got a good one & changed it myself. I'm no mechanic but you do not really need to be a z specialist to change it! I also had to change the high pressure hose after & again I did it myself! There are some very technical aspects with the z & having a zed specialist on board is invaluable! Good luck

I have a similar noise too! When I press the auto & then press econ button the noise goes!

Drilling the plenum isn't that bad with the dremmel. I used WD40 to stop the grinder clogging. Also use a pair of long nose grips to break the screw. Getting the injector out can be challenging!
