  1. Most body shops suppliers would do this or something similar, just make sure it's the adhesive type and not the sealing type. Search Sikaflex you will find what you want. Paul
  2. Maybe try some Sikaflex. Paul
  3. Is it the speed sensor on the gearbox, auto or manual. Paul
  4. It may be ok for oil, but when you add heat and pressure it is a different matter, how many car makers use silicon in this way. Paul
  5. You still have a great looking car, and as long as the body and chassis are sound the rest are just mechanical problems, you will get there in the end. Paul
  6. No way I would take a chance using that pipe, get the proper pipe. Paul
  7. Took some picture of the damage to my wifes 2002 focus, anyone what to guess what the estimates will be, is it a write off.
  8. Would'nt worry to much Stu, we will all be freezing our balls off next week. lol Paul
  9. Stu,it's already reported to the police, the thing that made us suspicious was that she gave my mates girl friends address, it wasn't until I asked my wife were she lived that the penny drop. lol how's that for a coincidence. Paul
  10. She has offered to pay for the damage, but she didn't look like the type that would have paid up. Paul

  12. Have managed to track her down, she has no license, no insurance, no tax, gave false name and address, boy is she in the s--t. Paul
  13. Wife had a bit of a bump tonight, woman pulled out of side turning into her, got her reg and name and address, just trying to confirm it all. Paul

  18. A trick I use is to get a cloth or kitchen roll lay it flat, and then put the dipstick on that so it leaves an oily mark on it. Paul
  19. It's hard to beleive that your car needed 5 ltrs of oil, as going on Legraths figures you only had 2.7 ltrs of oil in your gearbox, if this was the case i'm sure your car would not move and to have an over filled gearbox can do a lot of damage. Paul
  20. Groover may be the best person to try and sort this out, this picture is in the faq section. Yes it is for converting KPH to MPH, I would be willing to post it up to you to see if it solves your problem first, if it does we can sort something from there. Paul
  21. The antenna may just be stuck, try pulling in out and cleaning it, if it is broken I have a full working antenna, Paul
  22. Not sure if this will help or confuse the problem, this is the converter that came out of mine when I changed to UK clocks, it has 5 wires coming from it and I have no wiring diagram.
