A trick I use is to get a cloth or kitchen roll lay it flat, and then put the dipstick on that so it leaves an oily mark on it. Paul

It's hard to beleive that your car needed 5 ltrs of oil, as going on Legraths figures you only had 2.7 ltrs of oil in your gearbox, if this was the case i'm sure your car would not move and to have an over filled gearbox can do a lot of damage. Paul

The antenna may just be stuck, try pulling in out and cleaning it, if it is broken I have a full working antenna, Paul

Not sure if this will help or confuse the problem, this is the converter that came out of mine when I changed to UK clocks, it has 5 wires coming from it and I have no wiring diagram.
