There are some places that will flush the old oil out while replenishing with new oil so no mess. You will have to do a search to find an establishment equipt to do this.

I think your making the right move Mikey, i wish it was me. I think your dad could really do with a nice change so i hope it all works out for you. Its only a car at the end of the day, i realise you've spent a lot of money on it but if i were you i'd try and recover what money i could from it and don't look back. You know it makes sense. I hope so, i seem to remember seeing on the news a few months back the debate in the house of commons about it being all cars and not just cars after 2001, they were accusing labour of missleading the public. I could be wrong as i'm rarely sober:mac1:

I thought that labour moved the goal posts and said that it wasn't just cars made after 2001 but all cars would be effected. This calculater doesn't look like its been updated since labour announced that all cars would fall under the new legislation. Hope i'm wrong though.

Its lucky i still had it as every spare i had i put in the car before it went. I'm forever leaving car parts lying around the house which drives my wife mad so she must have put it away in a box that i just noticed last week:D

Its deffo a scam mate, i had the same thing a few years back when this sort of thing started surfacing. I advertised my mates car for £12k i received a bankers draught for £15k and was supposed to send the £3k via western union transfer to pay for the "shipping". It was the guy at Lunn Polly who was going to do the western union thing told me it was a scam and that i'll never get the money, he was more surprised when i showed him the £15k and that was after it had cleared 5 days later, we went to the cops and they said no crime had been committed so we went back to the bank who insisted it was all above board, we even talked to the manager who assured us the money was ours, eventually we persuaded his to take the money back but he only agreed to that by opening an account for us and putting the money in that. A week later the bank called to say the bankers draughts were stolen.

Juat listening to Martin Brundle talking to Murray Walker and they seem to think the F1 will be staying at Silverstone???

My Tom Tom on my phone has Kit as an option for the voice but i think it would be very annoying, i'll just stick with the standard female voice though.

I forgot all about Brands Hatch, i remember watching as a kid in the 70's. I used to love James Hunt and also the black and gold John Player Special cars i think it was John Watson used to drive for them. Feeling very old now lol.:D
