  1. Well it sounds like a job for a respray if the paintwork is rough to the touch, but before you do that you could try the following: Use some rubbing compund and a machine buffer. Check the surface is now smooth and apply some T-cut to the affected area.

    Happy holidays
  3. I would agree with the toyota Aygo. For a baby it's one of the safest rides around in it's class.
  4. What's a Eraly ?. Is that some sort of destruction Derby for old Jags ?
  5. Oh I think you just won a 6 month holiday :D. Since this has been refreshed anyway I think the correct translation is "If I Recall Correctly".
  6. You could always book it in for a oil and filter change with the mechanic that is doing my engine build, however the only problem with this is there is no telling how long it will be "stored" for :(.
  7. Washer jets just clip out, once you remove the pipes, may help if you remove the bonnet liner first.
  8. FFS why do people keep diggin gup old post's if the original subject is no longer Valid. *edit * just checked it was Mac, I guess he's allowed to do it then lol.
  9. Back on topic. Speedfreak, For £35 it's not the full kit but a half kit. However as mentioned in the 2nd post, it's for a left hander, so no good for you really and as far as I am aware you can not buy these kits as seperates, only a complete set. If I were you I'd try and get my money back and buy a complete kits that people have advertised above.
  10. Unfortunately only you or a 300zx specalist can tell you that. Some things you can check yourself. Do you have an Air box or an induction kit. Do you have the standard exhaust or an uprated one. Can you see any extra's on your car ?, After market boost gauge maybe. Has your ECU been chipped, usually when ECU get chipped they get socketted first, this makes it easier to change chips over when you upgrade. Check to see if your ECU has been socketed. What colour are the connectors for your injectors ?. Do you have a standard radiator and intercoolers ? It's hard to ask what the spec of your car is if we haven't so unless you meant something different, we would need more information or at least some pictures.
  11. I would stick with OEM. You engine needs to be able to move a little, otherwise your car will start vibrating like the old american muscle cars. Moving from side to side when you rev the engine.
  12. Reworded it as I meant the headlight pannel.
  13. The rear wheels are on the wrong way as well. It's a UK model head light pannel (differenceis that imports have a Z logo on th efront headlight pannel, UK's have the Nissan symbol). Jap Rear bumper (UK has no reflectors and two fog lights built in). Jap Font bumper (UK have indicators on th inner light, Jap on the outer also no window washers on the front bumper - UK Spec only).
  14. Oh how times have changed. What's that dear ?. No, I didn't say anything. Yes, I'm going to cook now once I finished hovering the front room, cleaned the windows and washed the babies bottles.
  15. The prupose of a comi boiler is to 1) heat water and send it to the cylinder tank. 2) heat the water that feeds the radiators. If the rads are hot but the water is running out or heat after a while. I would guess that the size of your storage cynlinder tank is much smaller than the volume of water you are putting in the bath. 2 solutions. Switch on the emersion heater if fitted to the cylinder tank before you have a bath (note this water will be really hot). Get a bigger cylinder tank fitted. Most newer houses these days are fitted with a smaller tank as they seem to think that having a bath is a thing of the past and now only everyone has showers (which apparently use less water - but I guess that depends on how long you are in the shower for).
  16. Only just seen this. Sorry to hear what's happened at such a young age. Reading through the post it sounds like things are looking up, but I can imagine it's already proven to be a hard and painful journey for you all. Wishing you and your family a quick and painless recovery form this ordeal. I have a 4 month old daughter and it's amazing what you would do for your kids, I guess you don;t realise this until you become a parent. Myself and Ana's thoughts are with you.
  17. And I thought this thread would be a picture of a Tatoo'd man totally out of his nut :)
  18. You can pick these bus tours up outside the Madam Tou's and the planetarium. Baker Street may be an ideal starting point to be honest. *edit* you can also go to the Ice bar there. It's a bar made totally from ICE. I think they do it by appointment, i.e. 20 min slots so you can go in have a beer and come out. 20 mins because of health and safety and also tourism.
  19. I took the Wife and Mother in Law to Baker Street a few months back to see Madam tussads and a few other places. Book tickets in advance if you can and try and get a package with this included. If you just turn up you are looking at £25 per person to get in and if there is a big queue you can jump it by talking to the rep outside and pay an extra £5 and pay by credit card, that gets you in ahead of the queues. Worth it if you don't have a lot of time but not worth it if you don't have a lot of money.
