  1. What do you use to get the paint so hard ?
  2. I don't know any rich people :(. ALl the people I know keep asking me for money :o
  3. That's Paul's replacement car while he's is getting done.
  4. Nice one. Quick question for you. Once you have finished with the bath and refitted all your seals. How do you stop your wife kicking your butt becuase of the state you left the bathroom in with all that black sticky mess that dosn't seem to come off?
  5. Nice, very nice. Time and money well spent I say !!! :)
  6. Replace the valve and you should be all good.
  7. Sold mine a long time ago. Still here and kep thinking about getting another one. But I've gone the M5 route now and looking for a mint one to take my cravings away. :)
  8. The rear valves are only good for 2G anything more than that and they will leak ;) :D Had a similar problem. On high boost all the washers start weeping. I thought it was quite funny :)
  9. Sorry for the delay Dave, You can reset your ecu via the Conzult. Jimmy, FYI, it's had a fully custom mapped chip rather than one off the shelf. JD was mapping on the Dyno up until we got thrown off to maxing it out, then we continue to map on the roads up until 21 psi.
  10. So Nissan took the engine out and tested all the electrics in 8.5 hours ?. Now I'm going on the theory that Nissan don't remove many 300zx TT engines and therefore it would probably take them a bit longer than normal. What's the average time for one of us that have removed engines a few times from drive up to engine out? 4 - 6 hours ? My guess is the engine has not been out and Nissan has not really checked this car over as well as he says.
  11. An preview pics form the body shop?
  12. Nohing looks nice to you unless it's stock with an after market set of wheels and a nice "stance" IMO of course.
  13. There was another one but I can't remember her alias. Had a black 300zx, quite nicely kitted out but had a draggon down each side.
  14. If you get stuck I have one you can use. However I'm a bit dubious about lending gear out these days. I lend a compressor to someone a week after I bought it (hadn't used it myself). That was 6 years ago, I'm still waiting to get it back LMAO !!!. IfI'm honest I fogot about it up until last week.
  15. Very nice job there. How much Tcut dd you get through to remove the orange peel :). I've just finished a M5 replicate Fibre glass bumperfor my Beema. Did it all by spay can and hand. It's surprising how good it looks after rubbing down and tcutting.
  16. Have you reset the ECU since you sorted out the leaks ?. Black smoke is overfuelling. I remeber Vinz had the same issue and said he had to shovel up a pile of soot in his garage every other week LOL. I'm sure your's isn't that bad. But it is a pain if you want ot keep the back of your car clean. I think JD usually overfuels rather than underfuels, but as mentioned, you may find cleaning your temp sensor and MAF, then resetting your ECU will help. It may also be worth checking and cleaning your TB's to see if they are clogged up.
  17. Get online and get them to call you back :)
  18. I can I imagine him declaring those mods to the insurance company. Insr: what modifications do you have?. Kid: loads a fake carbon plates scattered but symetrical and stuck on using a rivvet gun.
  19. Just to add to the above. There's really no pint in changing the injectors on thier own at this stage. The difference you will see between 14.5 and 16 psi on stock turbo's in minimal in comparrision to the fact that you are pushing your tubs to thier limits to the point where they are running out of puff. Theory although never proven - removing cats destroys turbo's. If you take the cats out you are removing backpressure from the oil seals. If your turbo's were going anyway then you will just spead up the process. There's no stopping turbo seals form going apart form a strip and rebuild. But this may be a good thing for you. If you are going to change your turbo's you can get bigger injectors at the same time. You may want to think about suspension and brake upgrades at this stage. Beforeyou give too much thought to going fast, it's worth sparing a though to stopping.
  20. Nice mate, very nice. Now is it the suit or do you have one short arm and one long arm :)
  21. I had Silver streak insured with them. £850 all mods declared and an agreed value of £15k. Very helpful and friendly. Not sure if they would be the same ifyou need to claim :)
  22. This has been discussed in great lengths in the past. Run a search and you will find the hidden treasure :)
  23. ? WTF did I just quote ? I've mastered the art of nonsense quoting. I now have the ability to tottally ruin a thread by quoting out of context 100% of the time.
  24. He doesn't go out at night time, he's too busy on the PS3 :)
  25. Ok, I'm out voted so I guess I'm wrong (plus Si is always right ;) ) I'll repaint it tomorrow without the sanding before the lacquer.
