It's been 5 and a half weeks but the PTU finally arrived today with some of the other stuff I ordered. I'm happy as I also got my car back today from garage that fixed the Power steering leak. The only thing I am worried about now is that Al (the mechanic) says that the misfireing now and again could be the det sensor :o If I replace the PTU and it still misfires fook it, I'm scrapping it !!!!! :mad: :mad:

A filler flap in the post ??? Didn't come with any note or anything, just a filler flap in a jiffy bag :confused:

For those for you that have the rear lights tinted. Can I ask how you did it ?. Film or spray ? I wanna do mine as they kinda stand out a bit now I got the windows tinted.

Not sure how big you wanna go but this is what I'm in the process of building in the back of mine.

So how did the stud get bent (no jokes on this one) ?

Simple ......get the revs up, drop the clutch and while your right foot is keeping the revs at about 5k lightly press the brake pedal with your left as you start to move. As you tap the brake pedal you need to give a little more revs. The rears will continue to spin and you will be at full burnout. Then get yourself down to the shop for some new tyres. LOL :D

Don't mean to sound funny here, but ..... You think too much !!!!! I don't think anyone here would be able to tell you because the boost needle on most of our cars is hardly ever in the - section of the PSI gauge. LOL

You should find that the sueeking clutch goes away once the engine is warm. Mine does this too. It's a little embrassing when you are staionary purring away and then it sound like an elephant has just been kicked in the nuts when you put your clutch down. Haven't got a clue what it is, but you may also find that when you select reverse and tough the brakes you get a knock sound. This has nothing to do with the clutch soI haven't got a clue why I mentioned it :confused:

Blue water is just the other side of the Dartford tunnel (Kent) coming from Essex.

I'm not sure which one you mean but I'd imagine it stops the hose kinking thus shutting off fuel to the engine.
