No, I'm talking about the square panel in the boot help by 4 bolts, back a bit form the ABS. This panel is painted black in mine. I see how my previous post could have been misleading. Congrats Eric it's a beauty. I totally agree with Eric, learning about the car will save you an absolute fortune. The oil change is very simple - 14mm socket for the sump nut, chain wrench for the oil filter and you're done. You can order simple oil filter and sump nut washers from Nissan or you can get them form courtesy motors in the USA (cheaper in the long run). One of the good thing about being a Z owner is that you are never far from free help. It still amazes me to this day how people offer to help others when they are having small problems. Most of these people have never met. I have to say despite the keyboard ninja fights this forum has seen, it's one of the friendliest and most homely places to be :).
