Fitting after market Rad
So is he saying that an aftermarket Rad is no better than stock ?. or that it could simply be improved more by smaller end tanks ? Just thinking how this can happen  the water pump pumps the water around the engine, it enters the rad at the bottom and flows up (or is it the other way round ? ). If this is the case the water pump would prevent flow of hot water back into the engine surely ? ). Also speaking of air locks, could this have been what caused your piston damage ? Heatsink maybe ?. How did you know you hads an airlock and how did you get round it. Would be good to know for when I fit mine, Thanks.

Fitting after market Rad
Mark, Yep it's a Z1 jobbie :D. I have a feeling that most people who had the problems on TT.net were using the fan with a stock rad. Well I've got A Howie 2.25" Rad, Aftermarket Oil Cooler, Greedy I/C's & Doolz twin pop, so There should be enough cooling there to do the job even at big BHP. And if there's not I'll just fit a CO2 kit for the rad and the I/C's :D.

Fitting after market Rad
Hi Guys, I have a howie rad which has a pretty big core (1/4" thicker than the koyo to give an idea). Anyone here running an aftermarket rad without the viscious fan (i.e. aftermarket electric fan). Easy to fit ?. Can you notice quicker turbo spool up without the viscious ?

LOL Mac !!!!. Mike, Mikes pretty good you can get it to move if you rev the nuts off of it !!!. Well put it this way it took me just under 5 hours to get back from Sunderland (350 miles). I hit 115 a few times. It's a 2.0ltr TD !. I had a look under the bonnet and the turbo is tiny, I gotta take a picture of it, it will make you laugh !.

And there was me cursing NTL. I downloaded that PaulC.wmv and it was running at 15kb per second. I know Mike was doing something with the network yesterday, maybe the bottom has fallen out of it.

errors from this forum
I keep getting at least 2 error messages per thread I read. I have a feeling this is due to my firewall at work. I can not turn this off but are there settings within this forum I can change to stop these messages coming up ? I don’t get these problems at home. Line numbers within tht error message vary as well.

It's all very exciting
For those of you who have ConZult you will know exactly what I'm talking about. :hyper: One of the main features of version 2.0 of the conZult is the ROM reader. Basically the new feature allows us to view the timing/fuelling/ignition maps in our EPROM. We can also back this info up burn copies of our EPROM without removing it from the ECU. Therefore if we look at our chart form the Thor dyno day and realise we have a flat spot between 5 - 6k rpm we can get a known chip writer to burn our current EPROM onto a chip but adjust the fuelling etc. at this 5 - 6krpm area. It's all very exciting :hyper:

This is a TPS problem without a doubt. Clean the TPS connector and reset your ECU. Problem will be solved.

Skyline Type Rear Lights
Maybe you also need to change the center panel and have the reverse lights as smaller circles to continue the flow of the skyline lights, saying that I still wouldn't change them for my '99's :)

Another WIDE ARCHER Emerges!!!
I personally think the tub looks ok on that car, it gives it a more bulky look. Although I'm not too keen on Wide Arches, I think the tub looks much better with the wide arch than it doe son the stock arch. So what's the progress on yours Fas ? Any more pics of the recent stages ?. Also where is the Paint yard is it near K ?
