Well saying that I'm getting a little worried you know. I took her to SE last week to get the rear ball joints checked. Surely enough they were on their way out, but they quickly checked the oil as I told them that it seemed to be burning a fair bit. They couldn’t find any leaks but again my level was very low…. I'm gonna have to start checking this fooker on a daily basis. They reckon that it will burn a little oil after the engine rebuild. I only had new heads and 1 piston replaced FFS !!!!!. Can someone confirm this is the case (the rebuild oil burning bit, not the bits I had replaced, I already know what they are :D)? If this carries on I got a feeling it's gonna be an engine out jobby again !.

Well I got Smoke pouring outta my drivers side pipes :D. It's quite funny, as i only happens afer sitting in traffic for a little bit, it clears as I start to move again. Was speaking to Mac to see if it's what he had with his piston and was speaking to my other mate to see if it's what he had when his turbo's went. The good news is that both cases were different and I doubt it's the valves seals. Mac reckons it's the PCV valves so I'm gonna try and change them this week to confirm his threory :dance:.

Ok here's my seide of it. I personally would have done the track day but as you know my car was at PPS. However I have a feeling that people probably pulled out due to fear. Not only fear of crashing or being crashed into, but also of fear of the after effects, ie.e. new brakes new tyres etc. I've been thinking....... Harve did a 15 min track time at Trax last year which he said was the nuts, now although 15 mins is not enough to do any real danage to the brakes tyres etc, it's long enough to get a feel for the track. If enough people are interested I can maybe arrange for Trax to give up a 15 min or 30 slot purely for 300zx's ?. That way people can get to have a track blast without having too muych worry that goes with it. How's this sound ?
