snurdf, What did you use to retrim yours ?. Is that leather or vinyl and where did you get it ?. I'm thinking of redoing mine now, because the stuff I used looks a little dirty if you know what I mean . P.S. this is an old photo, (Dec 2002 to be exact).

Bonnet damage ( high wind)
Really ?? I thought it would have been Car insurance. But it will count as a claim. Depending on the damage I wouldn't bother going through the insurance. It may work out more £'s in the long run. You'll just have to bend over and take it up the butt as one of those things that happens. Like when some little shite keys your car  Also take something for the wind mate, I''ve heard Settlers Tums are quite good for that sort of thing ;)

Interior in and finished
Nice one dave, I think you have done a top job there and can not fault it. Only one thing I can thing of to improve it is either change the red wire to black OR and I think this is the better option, continue the red wire in the rest of the trim. Because at the moment to me it looks like the doors don't belnd with the rest of the interior. But I really do like the red piping. Maybe you should get black seats with Red piping as well that would look the nuts ;)

Fitted my New Dials last night
The small ones fit nice and snug so nothing is needed. On the larger ones I use a couple of small strips off double sided tape on the inner edges and tucked it round the back of the dial surround to hold it in place. It's not visible at all.

where have i seen this car before?
Just out of interest has anyone actually seen this car with the bonnet open .

Fitted my New Dials last night
I thought I'd post up some pictures as I know how you guys like pictures  I removed the dial cluster from the car Fitted Chrome Dial rings (available from Danny - DTA Motorsport) I then fitted the Dials which were supplied by Vijay Fitted it all back into the car and tested out the colour changes and dimmer. The only problem I had was getting the the needle of the two large dials though the small circle of the new dial face. Also, yes, I did adjust my fuel needle, because it has always been reading a quarter of a tank low since I fitted my ali dial suround about 5 months ago. Time taken: Remove dial cluster from the car = 15 mins fit new dials = 1 hour fit cluster back into car = 15 mins Vijay, thanks for the tips about reinforcing the back of the dials, I used the old dial to make a brace at the back and it's done the trick nicely ;).

are you happy?
I think we could make this club much better by letting sleeping dogs lay and not crying over spilt mik :D. I think we should just let it go and look forward rather than behind. Lets look where we want to go rather than where we have been.

vibration and missing
Well on first impressions I would say. Vibration through the steering wheel - inbalanced wheels Through the brake pedal on braking - Warped disks / tension bushes All over vibration - prop shaft inner bushes Hesitation, jerky mainly between 2k & 3k rpm - O2 sensors (reving over 3k rpm will clear it and it only jerks when the car is warm).
