Max Boost
Injectors max out at about 14.5 psi on stock turbo's (proved via conzult). You can push the boost more but the injectors will already be suppling their maximum fuel load. You can probably get to high 16's (psi) on a cold day before det and low 16's on a hot day (proved by my car on stock IC's). The turbo's will max out at around 17 - 18 psi. Running on stock injectors and stock Tub's you will not get a great deal of gain between 14.5 - 16. And for the extra stress it puts on the engine and the tubs, you may as well stick to around 14.5 psi. I used to run at 16 psi but now I run at 14.5 as the dyno didn;t show a great deal of difference between the two, well non worth talking about anyway. Feel free to comment if you don't agree.

580 bhp 300zx ?
580bhp. With no after market dials to tell you what's going on ?. Can't see any boost controllers no AFC ?. I'm kinda thinking that this may not be 580bhp.

Thanks for that Matt, but it doesn't tell you how to actually adjust the catch itself. It just shows you where they are.

Well could be a number of things that are touching. Strut crace, new smithy fuse box cover, ptu. However saying this I can push the bonnet down more so I will start by tightening up the catch and then removing bits one at a time to find the source.

Yeah I think I have stretched my bonnet catch due to too much high speed  Anyone know how to adjust the bonnect catch ?

Porterfield Pads
I fitted some porterfield pads last weekend. Coated the back of them with copper ease and also the caliperridges with copper ease. The bloody things are are sealing like pigs on the slightest touch. Took them out and gave thena good clean and still squeeling. I'm thinking of ginding the egdes down very slightly so they are not so square. Anyone else had a bad case or Brake squeel with these pads ? If so what did you do ? Thought I'd just mention that apart from the squeel these pads kick ar$e. The car brakes so much better than the kaky EBC red stuff I had in before.

dyno section
15 mins cost me £60 :(. whereas Jaffa got his AFC set up and was on there for an hour and it cost him £90. I was a bit confused about the price for a simple 10 min dyno run :(
