  1. Weheyy! Glad it was an easy fix.
  2. You could perhaps try taking the battery of the car and leaving it for a while, an hour or so and reconnecting that might reset it? I had trouble with an alarm after changing a battery on the car, would go of when the car was locked. I Cured it by taking the battery of again and refitting. Most strange!
  3. A silly question but the car was running wasnt it?
  4. Hell fire a rare car now at the best of times... I'm sure I have seen this listing before though, it might have been mentioned on pistonheads at some point? Shame that standing for 21 years will have done more harm than good no doubt.
  5. Seen around 2:45 at J6 heading south on the M61 towards Manchester. Looked to be standard on a H plate I suspect. Nice to see one! :)
  6. Also check for insurance reasons, will your insurance cover a bike that is kept outdoors? Lots of insurers now will only insure a bike if its in a locked garage in certain areas. Check your post code on the list, might give you an idea! http://www.carinsuranceexplained.com/car-insurance-explained/car-insurance-postcode-risk-list.html
  7. Fiat Punto Evo More like! :p http://fiat-punto-evo.sgpetch.co.uk/pages/new/single/make=Fiat/model=Punto%20Evo/type=Punto_Evo_GP_1.4__3_door_MANUAL_2526
  8. I suspect this is because the contemporary GTR was the early R32 which didnt have the brembo brakes, the R33 was introduced in 95 (although it looks like the Brembo brakes were fitted to V spec R32 GTR's in 93 first) by 95 the Z32 was 6 years old so probably Nissan were not to interested in re-engineering all the brakes etc. Although of course they spent a fortune for the 99 spec on it but with Nissan, who knows! I would consider the D2/K Sport option. I had this on my last one and they were brilliant, far better than rebuilt standard calipers with relocation brakets that I had on my first zed. My only gripe against the R33 brembo calipers is that they are say 15 years old and have probably had a hard life, lets say you get a set for £400-£500 (300 no discs) which seems the going rate. Factor in new lines, pads etc thats another £150. Then the discs, well the ones that are with the calipers might be ok but they might not so good discs will be £200 a pair I'd have thought. Then youve got to think about the state of these old calipers, they will probably want rebuilding so seal kits have to be taken into account. I cant actually find any at the moment but when I last saw them they were expensive, 100 a caliper at one point! I actually went down this route with the Evo big red calipers, I got some for a bargain of £80 but by the time I had factored in rebuilding them £100 a kit for seals at the time on brembo calipers, new discs pads, lines etc I was up to £600+ I got my D2's for that, a bargain I'll admit. But for that you can get a brand new warrantied kit with everything in the box. Having said all that, these look a good price! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-Skyline-R33-GTR-Brembo-Brakes-/110987972610?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item19d7661002
  9. Damit! Spotted this on pistonheads and was going to post up about it... I wasnt actually sure it was a 300zx at first, until I saw the standard mirrors! Bloody awful shame to ruin something that started of so good looking!

  15. Oohhhhh they are a bit nice.... Why do you bring something like that out when I'm leaving Z32 ownership???! Might have a set in storage incase I come back to the fold sometime.... (when someone imports me a manual TT Version R 99 Spec in midnight purple - sexual) Look fantastic mate well done!
  16. Thanks for going... :) No reason not to stick around mate, when my zed goes I won't be going far (yeah your all stuck with me) In reference to njmworsley's post, M5board.com fml there is perhaps 50+ topics a day in the E39 M5 forum alone, I feel a bit blindsided by the place. Its mainly because every american in the world is a member I think and my christ do they witter about nothing.
