  1. You cant have one untl youve bought like 160 litres a month for 6 months or somthing... There is some quota... i know it took me 8 months to get mine through... Even with putting 600 litres of diesel in a van in a month as well... lol
  2. My horn does work - but at some point my car has had an aftermarket steering wheel on it, which has been taken of (before i bought it) however, the horn has been moved to a button ontop of the cowling, and the slip ring had been removed from behind the steering wheel which removed the auto cancel from the indicators and also ment the cruise buttons couldnt be plugged in. So i returned the slip ring to its proper home and fixed the auto cancel. But the cruise still doesnt engage, now there is a yellow wire thats been moved to the button on top of the steering wheel.... Any thoughts!
  3. Ha, i agree with you. Its shite, but i get a pretty red card instead of the lame yellow one because im special and in the exclusive club!
  4. so the horn and the cruise are related... do they share an earth?
  5. bwahahaha, be reet.... He'll get over it im sure!

  7. It was yours then i take it?? John.... your lagging behind ;) I got a call today to declare mine was all but complete... couple of niggly little things to get by and the rather large problem of its MOT... but apart from that im track for a saturday pickup! :D
  8. Shell have the drivers club, and when you buy a certain about of vpower you get into the "vpower" club, which gets you double points on vpower, (infact i think at the moment its double points anyway, and triple for vpower)
  9. It was an option in both Japan and the UK i think. Leather was not standard as far as im aware, especially on earlier cars.
  10. mines jap with leather! :D
  11. Well we will take some virginities on this one ;)
  12. My Zed went to C&S yesterday, so hopefully should be back within the week :D I'll let you know how it goes on. Im actually only worried about the MOT... will be fine i hope. I'll let you know what it costs in the end, if your interested C&S woods seem very professional and competant so if you fancy running it down to Manchester then i'll let you know all about it and see what you think :)
  13. Poor thing, bless it. Looking very forlorn these days... Must be gut wrenching for its previous owner to see. Bless
  14. I agree with you there, most things overpriced on piston heads... The problem is that its a big car with a large engine that doesnt have much prestige so its market value is low, much lower than the value it holds to you. Just the way the market is, end of the day for £1200 you could get a faily nice e36 325i (even a coupe!) or a v6 audi a4, and no offence i know which id rather buy. :)
  15. i can see a plan being formed here...!
  16. I got mine from this guy... £12 cheaper same thing! Clicky
  17. i find it you push the nozzle down (so its effectly point further up it works better. if you hold it up (i.e nozzle down) it cuts out all the time... :)
  18. what was the difference with these fast road boxes?
  19. Ha that was genius, pure comedy from start to finish infact south park is the greatest thing america has ever brought to the world i think.... :D
  20. Well, are you just wanting the box and torque converter? (To be honest, im not sure what you need so let me know and i'll have a think) Also are you going to have it picked up or collect or do you want me to meet you half way or somthing. If you want to give me a PM about it or "Chriscave686@hotmail.com" and we'll go from there. Cheers
  21. The auto box seems fine, drives great in all the gears, and it has an aftermarket oil cooler on it at the moment. Its from a Jap Spec TT But, before i bought the car it had a reconditioned box put in it, which ihave the receipt for for about £1000 for a place called "Mr Clutch" in Manchester. The milage of the car recoreded on ther recipt is about 47/48k and its now done 64k so about 16k to 17k since this one was fitted. I drove the car like a fanny for the first 8 months of owning, because i was scared of the box blowing up but then i found it had the aftermarket oil cooler on it, right about the start of winter time so ive driven it like a fanny all winter as well lol... I have a video of the car (below) that shows at least some of the changes!
  22. Yeah its still for sale, still in the car at the moment. Hopefully going on the 19th for the work so the box will be available about the first week of february im hoping. How desperate are you?
  23. Anyone come accross this one before? Rather nice, few things to see in the factory. I wonder what became of that car...
  24. was going to say i dont remeber seeing it in my handbook ;) It has two other functions as well... for when people insist on wanting a go in your car, pop her in hold and there its nice and safe - ergo the other "user" cant break it!! The second is when the autobox is being a plank and refuses to change (like they do from time to time...) pop it in hold and back out again and then hey presto its in the gear it should be in!
