  2. Well were 700 or so over... Did anyone get a prize for this?? Who got the big 1,000,000 God knows why this popped into my head at one in the morning but there we go!
  3. Fair enough they are a pain, but i doubt they will award you anything (I say award, really your just claiming money from the government which no one benefits from really...) There are loads in lancaster, only once of which i have a problem with , you just have to drive slowly... and thats all they will say, that if the shockers in the car couldnt take a gentle rise at a few mph then the car was unfit for road use. Since at higher speeds the shock of bridge expansion gap on the motorway could have blown your shock absorbers. Now where you can get them is pot holes, and large peices of broken surface which have no signage, at the end of the day you know where speed bumps are they are sign posted and clearly marked... Big holes in the road are not and you stand a chance on those... But again, it would be a case of prove it, unless you could provide proof it will just get thrown out... You could have damaged your own car on kurb.

Of all the times a ZX refuses to start, its amazing how well they do when people want to nick em! Maybe some of these car thieves can give us some advice on how to make most of them start on the button! lol On a darker note, looked a really lovly example, a shame in this day and age that you cant have a nice car anymore because its either targetted for vandelism or stolen. Makes me sick.
  14. Saxo vts... deceptively quick little sod, up to about 110mph then its all out of ideas... End of the day its power to weight, and the NA, especially a nice specced 2+2 is a heavy car, standard trim at 220 to 230bhp depending on market just doesnt cut the mustard anymore... BMW 330ci, even the E46 was 231bhp and newer ones are more like 260bhp or so. But these are still heavy cars... Its when you get a 1200kg car with 220+bhp the NA would begin to struggle.... But i have learnt the 300zx isnt all about speed, yes they are quick cars but they are acheingly beautiful cars. Was only yesterday me and some mates went for a drive, 2 scoobs 2 evos and my 300zx, now my great big whale with its oh so very old suspension cannot stay anywhere near those 4 door saloons with 250 to 350bhp, (also my driving letting us down as well but lets not go there!) were far quicker and more surefooted down the little B roads and some of the twisty A roads, but when we pulled up a pub for some lunch the 300zx shone. Such a pretty dainty thing, with clean flowing lines, almost timeless against the tall and brash playstation four wheel drive stuff. My roof line doesnt even each the top of the spoilers on the most sedate scoob. I realised then what the 300zx is, a sports car, not a hot hatch, or a rally car. But a proper, beautiful (and compromised for it...) but its purpose is to look good, which the evo and the scoob just cant do. They look agressive, but not good.
  15. Its only about 60 miles each way?? lol Dont need to stay over... although im sure you could if you wanted to!
  16. Then i'll join you all at J34 as you come past ;)
  17. i'll be there!
  18. They were white and round... a mistake anyone could have made ;)
  19. Well they are pretty shit so PTU might just give up! Checking for a spark... i wouldnt know, but i presume sticking your tongue on the end of a spark plug probably wouldnt be very helpful... Im sure someone will be able to tell you. Maybe something if you search the forum. Wont be starter motor if it turns over, does it sound right when it turns over? I mean the normal noise?
  20. buggered then lol. Erm spark, fuel?? obviously plenty of electricity about toturn it over so it cant be that. So PTU perhaps? Fuel pump? Check for a spark!
  21. lol its worth it... funny story!
  22. so it turns over? and just wont fire?
  23. well experienced with me in my younger days ;) haha (only uninstalled them the other month... upgraded to girlfriend 1.0) Which gave me the following problems :( Can you please advise me. I'm having some problems. I'm currently running the latest version of Girlfriend and I've been having some problems lately. I've been running the same version of DrinkingBuddies 1.0 all along as my primary application, and all the girlfriend releases have always conflicted with it. I hear that DrinkingBuddies won't crash if you run girlfriend in background mode with the sound turned off. But I'm embarrassed to say I can't find the switch to turn the sound off. I just run them separately, and it works okay. Girlfriend also seems to have a problem coexisting with my Golf program, often trying to abort Golf with some sort of timing incompatibility. I probably should have stayed with girlfriend 1.0, but I thought I might see better performance with GirlFriend 2.0. After months of conflicts and other problems, I consulted a friend who has had experience with GirlFriend 2.0. He said that I probably didn't have enough cache to run girlfriend 2.0, and that eventually it would require a Token ring to run properly. He was right --- as soon as I purged my cache, it uninstalled itself. Shortly after that, I installed girlfriend 3.0 beta. All the bugs were supposed to be gone, but the first time I used it gave me a virus. I had to clean out my whole system and shut down for a while. I very cautiously upgraded to girlfriend 4.0. This time I used a SCSI probe first and also installed a virus protection program. It worked okay for a while until I discovered that GirlFriend 1.0 was still in my system! Then I tried to run GirlFriend 1.0 again with GirlFriend 4.0 still installed, but GirlFriend 4.0 has a feature that I didn't know about that automatically senses the presence of any other version of girlfriend and communicates with it in some way, which results in the immediate removal of both versions! The version I have right now works pretty well, but there are still some problems. Like all versions of girlfriend, it is written in some obscure language that I can't understand, much less reprogram. Frankly, I think there is too much attention paid to the look and feel rather than the desired functionality. Also, to get the best connections with your hardware, you usually have to use gold-plated contacts. And I've never liked how GirlFriend is totally "object-oriented". A year ago, a friend of mine upgraded his version of GirlFriend to GirlFriendPlus 1.0, which is a Terminate and Stay Resident version of GirlFriend. He discovered that GirlFriendPlus 1.0 expires within a year if you don't upgrade to Fiancee 1.0. So he did. But soon after that, he had to upgrade to Wife 1.0, which he describes as a "huge resource hog". It has taken up all of his space, so he can't load anything else. One of the primary reasons that he upgraded to Wife 1.0 is that it came bundled with FreeSexPlus 1.0. Well, it turns out that the resource allocation module of Wife 1.0 sometimes prohibits access to FreesexPlus, particularly the new Plug-Ins he wanted to try. On top of that, Wife 1.0 must be running on a well warmed-up system before he can do anything. Although -he did not ask for it, Wife 1.0 came with MotherInLaw 1.0 which has an automatic pop-up feature that he can't turn off. I told him to try installing Mistress 1.0, but he said that he heard if you try to run it without first uninstalling Wife 1.0, Wife 1.0 will delete MSMoney files before doing the uninstall itself, Then Mistress 1.0 won't install anyway due to insufficient resources. Can you help??
  24. lol you really are 12 years old ;) i had some of them years ago :p
