  1. try http://www.whifbitz.co.uk -there was a typo on that other post.
  2. Thank goodness for that! Ha ha, cheers, think I will get some seeing as you've rated them so highly. Xpensive but when it comes to brakes I suppose its like the oil you put in your car-you shouldn't skimp!
  3. x-biker....... u seen big pic of that purple Z on your avatar?

Make sure you do or we will track you down and steal your car for spare parts. James.
  5. Where do you guys get your Porterfield R4 pads from? -thanks, James.
  6. Sorry Mark...... just a request for some of the same if you have enough. James.
  7. About 2 and a half years, cost me over £2,500 in first 6 months........... another £1500 since easy. Think I've been unlucky though................ and now EVERYTHING is new and running sweet. Wish there was more of a difference in price for dogs and Z's that have been sorted! Mine is an '89 and I know what I would want for it, IF I were to sell it, and you just know you would get people saying/thinking "I've seen a '91 for £4k, your's is a bit expensive". The age is pretty insignificant compared to condition and work done to the car, I think. James.
  8. What width are your wheels? ie. 10 J rear 8 1/2 J front?
  9. 1. Get your Z on a ramp 2. Get an angle-grinder 3. Cut your cat's out 4. HEY PRESTO! 5. Erm, there is no 5. where abouts in London are you?
  10. Ian, Stuart wasn't fast enough!!! I got there first (hence the pic posted above cos I knew Stuart was after them!) Has Smithy got his sorted to sell yet? think someone said he has. James.
  11. Anyone in this country do it do you know?
  12. Ian is the green eyed monster I reckon. I only get to go on-line at work so while I miss out on most of the activity (ie arguements!) I flick onto the forum every 10 mins are so at work (yeah, sad I know) ok, maybe every 30! If anyone from my head office could see how much time I waste I'd get the sack........ but hey, I'll risk it for you guys.
  13. ............sorry mate. Silly childish behaviour.
  14. Have you seen these? They look really nice. You should get some.
  15. Glad to hear my spring hasn't turned up? thats nice. Only joking-speak to you soon Tony.
  16. You're right, seems like the owner has gone to town with the rest of the car, can't believe he's kept the wheels! (Tony) just spoke to Jeff, my spring hasn't turned up so will HOPEFULLY be tomorrow now!! James.
  17. You can never have too much. Simple.
  18. I have held just the OEM spoiler in my hands and sh1t it is heavy! you would not believe it! Can't believe they made it like it in the first place!
  19. If the garage has admitted that it maybe isn't running 100% right, then there is only one thing to do and that is WALK AWAY!! These buggers aren't cheap to fix, but don't let that put you off, just keep looking for the right one. James.
  20. Peter suggested sending him my front bumper AND petrol flap so he could get a match, so would only have to take the car there once anyway, to get bumper fitted, so £100 fuel for there and back. I know this is not ideal and I would rather him have my car for an exact match but it is a long way away and my bank balance isn't looking THAT healthy. But if it was only a difference of £50 (Easyjet, there & back) I would do it. Thanks, I'll have to get some prices from that fat Stavros dude at EastJet. James.
  21. Another model.....
  22. Just spoken to PPS and its a damn shame they're so far away! About £100 worth of fuel away, but still maybe worth the effort cos he sounded like a good guy and his work speaks for itself.
  23. I too was on the look for a manual but an auto came up at a price I couldn't refuse. I like the comments about an auto having to be driven right to get the best out of it cos that is so true. When my mates have a drive they just plant the pedal in the carpet and it doesn't go aswell as I can get it to go. Overdrive off on the motorway is rad, pulls so well. When its in 2nd at quite so slow speed and you bury the pedal and it drops back into first.......... that still gives me a smile about this big.............:D :D :D ...........but would still prefer a manual for that driving experience.
  24. Sh1t, leg it, we've been rumbled.
  25. Ah, what a special moment, my eyes are welling up, sniff sniff. Few more times by accident and then you'll be dong it on purpose I reckon, just to show off. WOO........ look at me!! oops, parked car there.
