dude- EVERYTHING you need is posted on "HEATER MATRIX" by me, james300 !!!!!!!!!!!!! especially the link to 300zx.org! that has pics etc.

You will notice your coolant level lower in a while -you can be sure of that! Think its more like £150 for the actual matrix -its the labour which is alot! Sylvia Engineering charge £400 +vat as it takes them 8 hours. As I said, check out my own post for ALL u need to know!!

its the heater matrix that is f**ked. Without it you will have no heating in your car! (Brrr-mine is broken!) the coolant travels round the radiator then into the matrix -then leaking out onto your floor!

Get 'em out man-you won't regret it! If you go for an induction kit it will be like the gases hitting a brick wall! and it sounds nice too!

Definatley your heater matrix dude! as my own is knackered! it can be easily bypassed for the time being. See my own post titled HEATER MATRIX on this section for everything you need to know!

Cheers guys-some priceless info there! So 10-12 hours with dash out or 4hrs leaving it in!!?? Hmmmm, let me see...... I'd rather spend a "fiddley" 4 hrs than an easy 12!! wouldn't you agree? Why can't SE do a "dash-in" job and charge me £200? buggers, reckon it was them who butchered it anyway cos the second I drove it away from them after a new engine being fitted- coolant pissed out into the footwells! thanx again.

Hiya mate. If you want electric (folding in) mirrors you gotta go import! a small detail but I like tucking mine in when parked! I've had mine (1990 import) for a couple of years now and love it. If u wanna take a drive to Crystal Palace I'll give you a blast in mine! Its had cats out, boost upgrade, Blitz induction kit, oh, and a new engine from Sylvia Engineering! good for 170 mph. They're alot of car for the money. Take it easy.

hello mate. it will most certainly be the wiring to your throttle position sensor as I had the exact same problem with eratic tickover. pull off the sensor for a start, clean up all round there and then trace the wiring, checking for any splits, bare wires, oxidisation etc. mine was in a pretty poor state just where it takes a 90 degree bend out of the sensor. solderd that and hey presto-problem gone! its tricky but do follow the wiring thru to the top of the engine as there is no point just doing half of the job. good luck and I'm confident this will do the trick! (I bought a new PTU from Courtesy Nissan thinking it was that-but it wasn't!) Shameless plug,,,,,,,, this is now for sale £100.

my heater matrix has packed up and its getting chilly, has anyone attempted a DIY install? I know it is located right under the dash! I've done more or less every other job myself but not sure about this one! don't fancy paying SE £400 LABOUR! (8 hrs) thanx in advance.......

can anyone suggest any springs that will lower my Z 40mm or more? lowest so far are MJP's at 35mm but don't want a gap at all between rubber and arches! (just put 18's on) .......... and I know it will bottom out etc but I want that slammed look. cheers.
