Ha ha. Even though I dislike SE, the engine they supplied didn't blow up, they supplied and fitted the new engine! but from dealing with them have a sour taste in my mouth.

POWERFLOW are good as you can choose the size of the back boxes and the design of the tips. Comes with a lifetime gaurantee aswell! you just got to go for a yearly check-up for that to stay valid. I know the branch near me had done quite a few Z's so was ok giving it to them.

The auto/manual debate at the mo isn't too bad, with well over 1,000 views on it! Had my Z for over 2 years so already got all my go-faster goodies on it. Hmmmmmm, getting JWT jets from Jeff. Think they might be iridium, not sure. Got them from SE (even though I hate them, see new post in "General chat") they said they will last a good 6k miles, at the time I was gonna sell the Z so got them, but must admit - have been fine. Oh, am keeping the 300 now aswell. I couldn't do it.

A-ha, shop has a contact within Castrol and has got me a 4L AND a 1L BOTTLE(s) But bit stupid as only need 4 litres! -and paid £48 for it! Where do you get yours?

Hello mate. Had one done by them myself (full system) prob at the same branch, Factory Lane? about a year ago, really pleased with it, sounds and looks nice. Don't get rocket launcher tailpipes will you? lifetime gaurantee is nice touch.

De-cat man, you'll love it. Providing your Z is old enough not to need them for your mot!? 1995 I think is as new as it can be without requiring them to pass.

Yeah-def right about the filter, forgot they were that cheap. Mine is an auto so 5 litres will give me some for top-up. Any idea how much the auto takes exactly?

You can also use NGK BCPR7ES if you're after something a little easier on the pocket! they work perfectly.

Come on then, tell me I've paid too much for some CASTROL RS 10w60 from my local car spares shop........ £48.00 for 5 litres. Did I only need 4 litres? and if you're changing oil every 6 months, have you gotta replace oil filter aswell? or do that every 12?

BIGROY, just checked out your Z on the rides section to see if I recognised it as I also live near Croydon, Elmers End to be exact. Have you done away with those M3 style mirrors? the pics at the bottom of your ride list didn't seem to have them on? Looks nice and clean tho!

4:08 AM!!?? can't you sleep? Jeff, its James, bringing the Z to you wednesday for you to fit new tension rod bush's. I spoke to you yesterday. Its a long drive for me up to Tamworth, the Z gonna be ok with my VERY knackered bush? it seems to be getting worse, on little dips and bumps I'm prttey sure the wheel is kind of "moving about", whatever-it feels pretty f*cked! And on another note if it is gonna be ok to drive to you, would you have time to run an ECU test? reckon my o2 sensors may be broken, £20= 50 miles last weekend! Cheers Jeff. James 07740 197795.
