my mate who paints cars usually just treats poly bumpers as tho it were a normal panel, just take out the imperfections ie flakey paint stone chips etc with a sander or block and paper if no sander, using progresively finer grade, use a scotch pad (like a pot washer thing) to rough up the paint u havent sanded and then prime n paint.

i believe the latter figure is the temp range that the oil is consistant at, so with 2 tubs your running high temps so that grade is much better, 10 60 synth was un heard of back when the zed was born, its designed for high performance cars that run hot, i couldnt get any so got 15/50 mobile 1

bit like my arse after a curry :D does anyone else notice loads of heat eminating from underneath there zed when they open the door at all, mines like a bbq, i also think that with the design of the zed there must be very little airflow thru the engine bay to aid underbonnet cooling, it has very tight panel lines and very little openings in the front, extremely tight engine bay etc. is that why all my rubber hoses and wiring feel like 200 year old desert baked bones.

mines been my daily driver for the last 9 months, its never broken down mechanically, i had a burst water pipe but thats to be expected on 13 year old rubber, if you change your oil often 3k miles or so and keep it stock you have a better chance of it not going bang, but lots of zedders on hear have mild to mad mods and have no problems, no car is guaranteed never to break down, beemers mercs audis etc are respected for there reliability, but they still do go wrong. imo a low mileage import is the best way to go

thats sweet man, love the kit, did you think about having the rear wiper removed for that fully smoothed out look, im really keen on this look at the moment, mines going in for 99 spec front bumper in 4 weeks, not to pps btw, i not too bother about a rear bumper but what side skirts look best with this front bumper, i do like the smoothed doors too, good job

i went to loads of motor factors and couldnt find 10.60 anywhere, so i got some mobile 1 fully synth 15/50 that should be ok shouldnt it. damn expensive, tho i did get a free autoglym resin polish with it worth 6.99, pity id just bought a bottle of it the day before, doh.

Just got a "NOTICE OF INTENDED PROSCUTION" through the door, for "camera-exceed 40mph limit" :mad: i remember last sunday turning right onto a 40 zone and i was first at the lights so gave it a prod and maybe touch 50 or so, there was no one else around, i say this white van up ahead and just assumed it was a builders or something, then as got close theres a guy with a camera facing me, oh sh*t. Does this mean i will get a fine or have to go to court, never had any experience with traffic offences so kinda brickin it. Any advice appreciated.
