  1. You're right Paul, you have the duct under the dash missing.. Robin
  2. Shit job but somebody has to do it :D :D :D
  3. The guy is an arogant, self centred, short arsed tw@t that pisses in his race suit during a race. Maybe this experience will teach the t0sser not to be so greedy and motivated by money. Now all we need is to sack half the design team and employ some good people. On the flip side though now we have to put up with Sato, who finds it difficult to stay on the black stuff at the best of times. JB, bloody nice bloke, one of the lads and he's British. Robin BAR employee with mixed emotions :D :D :D
  4. Another possibilty is the T tops. My drivers side has started to creek since the weather has got colder. Robin
  5. Hi Ben Generaly I think the auto box on the Z is very good if you're going to run the car in standard trim. If it's a J spec then a must is a seperate oil cooler for the box. If you go after big power gains then the box will fail eventually unless you upgrade it. I believe SE do a very good upgrade for the box. The manual box seems to be quite strong although some on here have had problems. Power outputs for the auto/manual is different, 280bhp for the auto and 300bhp for the manual I believe. Having said that the autos have better torque due to running different cams and i'm not sure if the turbos are slightly different as well. Quite a few people who have done a conversion from auto to manual report that it feels quicker than a genuine manual. At the end of the day it's down to personal choice. There's nothing wrong with the auto if you do the cooler mod, despite the horror stories you here. Do what I've done and have one of each :p :p All be it temporarily. Cheers Robin

Most people on here use Race Logic TC. Excelent bit of kit, you can adjust the amount of slip with a dial. Not sure about price, around £450 mark I think. Mine had it already in    Robin

  8. Ardy If you want someone to go with you to look at the second one give me a shout. I don't live to far from watlington. Robin
  9. Rich I have a standard one on my car at the moment which I will be changing for a modded one at the weekend. You're more than welcome to it if you want to come and get it. Robin
  10. Doesn't sound to bad Chris. Most people have the water pump changed at the same time as thay are known to fail and if it does it all has to come off again to change the pump. Robin
  11. I agree, Porterfield. Good, after first application, don't fade and low dust. What more could you want Robin
  12. Rich you could look at importing one yourself ? I know a few of the guys on here have. Do a search for previous posts on importing. Is a nice clean motor though. Mine was the pearl yellow one running 1.25bar, makes me grin every time I hit the loud pedal :D :D Robin
  13. Need to be more carefull were you put the vaseline Alex :D :D :D Robin
  14. Rich No problems bud, was my first meet too. Know what you mean about user names though can be very confusing. Mine was chosen by my 4 year old son, hence a bloody teletubbie ! Still saves me putting in loads of user names until I find one that hasn't been used ;) Which was yours, the short wheel base n/a ? Robin
  15. John was the cambelt changed by someone you trust ? Maybe a tooth out ? Robin
  16. Ah so you were there then Rich. I assumed you hadn't turned up as no one approached me for some helitape, even had me scalpal with me :D I thoght I would wear my BAR shirt so I would be easy to identify  Nevermind, if you want to pop down to Bicester and get some feel free or I can post you some. Robin
  17. Dissconnect the battery for an hour John. It'll run rough for a while until it re-learns all the speed/load sites. Why do you need to do a reset ? Robin
  18. duralumin duralumindoorãl´yemin, dyoo-, alloy of aluminum (over 90%) with copper (about 4%), magnesium (0.5%-1%), and manganese (less than l%). Before a final heat treatment the alloy is ductile and malleable; after heat treatment a reaction between the aluminum and magnesium produces increased hardness and tensile strength. :D :D :D robin
  19. Yeah a little. Standard looking uk car, manual, 126k on the clock, ariel stuck half way, H reg I think. Robin
  20. Hi Rich Ok I'll make sure I stick it in the car. Oh and Rich you don't have to pay for it mate, it may have cost the company £650 but I got it for a lot less than that ;) Robin
  21. Rich Just seen you're going to the meet in Solihull at the weekend, do you want me to bring the helitape with me ? Robin

Shania lives in Switzerland and she wasn't very good anyway:D :D :D :p
  24. Hi Rich It's not difficult to use but can be time consuming to get it to go round compound angles (lots of cutting wedges out ). To be honest I think if you did the whole bonnet it would look naff, then again it's never going to look the mutts nuts no matter what you use or how good a job you make. Have a go at the headlight panel and see how you get on. If you can make the trip down the M40 to bicester I'll do it for you, save on postage as well that way. Robin p.s. I now have the only 12" roll in the company at home ;)
