  1. Cheers Buddy. When is your car due to be back on the road? The build list sound awesome!!
  2. Exactly! I didn't buy a 3.0 V6 Twin Turbo two seater targa roofed sports car to go reversing in the rain!!!!!!!!!! Glad you like it!
  3. Oh dear, another disappointed homosexual pedophile!!:rofl::rofl:
  4. All in good time Bigman, all in good time. That's unless I get a carbon fibre one!!! ;);)
  5. A small 3mm high rubber bung is less intrusive than a Primera rear wiper!! A 300zx with a Primera wiper reminds me of a erm, let me think........... a Primera. (Wow, I can do snide comments too, this is great!) Nissan put a rear wiper on a flagship sports car in 1989. Probably a compromise and not the best decision in the world. I think it looks better without. The Z32 has some nice curves and the less distractions on the body-line the better. As for redundant switch gear, yeah that is a really good point. I have lost several nights sleep over that. What will people think when they see that the little toggle on the left of the instrument pod is still there and I have no rear windscreen wiper? Do you think they will point and stare or even laugh? Please advise I need to get some sleep! In your defense though, you last comment is correct. :headvswal
  6. Thanks. The blackened out centre panel makes the rear look less cluttered and not quite so eighties if you ask me. Each to their own though.
  7. Hah!! Made you look!!!! Thought I'd post an update on my rear end as I cleaned it up a bit!! I removed the wiper and squirter as you may have seen. I have since decided to ditch the grommet idea for the rear screen and instead have used Tiger Seal. All I did was place some tape underneath the tailgate to sop the tiger seal from dripping through, injected the tiger seal into the hole in a thin layer and allow to set. The next day i removed the tape from underneath then layered some more seal into the hole, this time strengthening it with a metal plate to give rigidity. The following day I filled in some more so that the seal was proud of the screen and then, whilst it was still wet, took a stanley knife blade and dragged it across the top of the hole giving a flush finnish. The end result is a very clean fill in black with almost (but not quite) the same shine as the glass. What do you reckon???
  8. Holy crap thats cheap!!!!!!:hyper::hyper::hyper:
  9. First one- fan is way under par. Don't buy. 2nd one looks like a Koyo copy so should function ok. (better still, get a used koyo if funds are tight and if you can find one. Look up Zirgo fans on ebay.com (USA) and get one that pulls 3950cfm or 3450cfm at a push. I have the 3450cfm one and it seems OK but not as good as Silverbullets one which pulls 3950cfm. I may have to upgrade mine soon. Andy
  10. Cheers Jay. Always admired your car by the way. Very tastefull and together. Andy
  11. Yeah, clocked that on the news this morning. Burried under concrete on the ship!!!!! They did well to find that!!!
  12. My pleasure matey. The hose you get with the kit are a bit thin. I would recommend you go to speedflow for hose and any spare compression fittings you may need. It's also where you will find a rather hand cut off valve (you can just see it hidden behind the regulator in my pics. good luck, Andy
  13. Papa BG asked me to post up some pics of his pride and joy. So put your sun glasses on and enjoy!!!!!
  14. Cheers Bud, More time than money to be honest, or at least thats the way it seems!!! Andy
  15. Cheers Gibster. Fuel Pressure Regulator was fairly easy to fit. It comes with a aluminium mounting plate which has a pre-drilled hole. this lines up nicely with one of the fuel filter bracket holes in the inner wing. Bolt it down and bend the bracket back slightly and your done. Compression fittings on the other hand are a precision job but not impossible if you follow the instructions carefully and use your head. Once you have it plumbed in just run the engine and set to 3 bar (43psi) with the vac line disconnected, tighten the adjuster locking nut and re-connect the vac line. Job done If you want to buy one, this is where I got mine -http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150340018671&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_1811wt_941 Andy
  16. Thanks. That's why they call me Piccasso!! Cheers stu, glad you appreciate it bud.
  17. Hi Craig, Lots of advice!! To start with though, I'd say get a corded drill, use of a bench or at least a WorkMate. A polishing kit from ebay, lots of wet and dry emery cloth, some of those sponge sanders. Cutting paste can be quite good. I could go on for ever. What have you got already? Andy
  18. Cheers Matey. Hiding the wires just helps clean up the whole look of the engine bay and directs your eye to the curves of the plenum. Glad you appreciate it Thank you Bigman, that means a lot from someone with an eye for detail such as your self. I'm sure it will mate, if you get stuck, give me a shout. Andy
  19. Sounds like the boost controller is doing nothing so I would say you need to go back and look at how it's plumbed in. I think it's got something to do with the 3 holes and the instructions being wrong! This sounds like the same problem I had. If not it may be a faulty unit. Andy
  20. Cheers Buddy!! Yeah, yeah, you say that noe but once you get into it I bet you will get carried away. Polishing is adictive. If you don't believe me you can ask my therapist. Cheers Jon.
