  1. Only just started watching this on Viva and I have to say it has me in stitches!!! Didn't see the Zed though. I'll keep watching. Andy
  2. Cool. Have you tried speedflow? http://www.speedflowshop.co.uk/ I got a lot of bits from them when I upgraded my FPR and filter etc. Here's some of their stuff in situ' Andy
  3. Great bit of info there buddy!
  4. Hhhmmmm ok then. I just don't appreciate moderators unnecessarily jumping to conclusions on a forum. It's a different story if people are starting to do things to offend people. Anyway, I've just dropped you an email. I'm only 2 junctions down the M3 from you at Ascot and so is Silverbullit. You'll have to pop over one day or we'll popover to you. Andy
  5. Here you go mate. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150340018671&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_1811wt_941 I think he might be out of stock at the moment though, I just had a look on his site and couldn't see one. Andy
  6. Start the car, disconnect the vac feed to the FPR and set pressure to 43psi. Re-connect vac line. Job done. Andy
  7. Don't buy these ones aNDY, you will regret it!! Call me and i will show you something much better!! Not ready to go public yet though!!! Andy
  8. Yes absolutely right the club profits are the most important thing!!!!!!!!!!! If two people want to exchange contact details on this FORUM, why shouldn't they? Richard - I hope your comments were not directed at me as I find accusations disguised as reminders like that very unnecessary. Kindest Regards, Andy
  9. It's an Aeromotive copy but don't tell anyone!!! Andy
  10. Oh bugger, I didn't even know you could get those!!! I had to go hard pipe to -06 stainless braided hose to JIC 0-6 to FPR and JIC/ braided stainless steel to Sytec Fuel filter with JIC -06 fittings. To be on the safe side though I double clamped onto the hard pipes after cutting them down - piccy - Andy
  11. Nice!! Mine looks like this. BTW that picture is with the ignition on and no vac pressure hence the reading of 43psi!!! Andy
  12. Which one have you fitted? Andy
  13. Oh FFS!! No, I was right in the first place!!!! I'm having another beer!!!!!!:duffer::duffer::duffer:
  14. No, what I mean is - are you using a fuel pressure gauge in the cock pit? Andy
  15. Slight boo boo - the fuel pressure goes up when you reconnect the vac line, not down. No more beer for me!!!!!!!!:rofl:
  16. Can't comment on the big book mate as i have never seen it. Maybe it's a translation issue? Where are you getting your reading from? Andy
  17. The thing is you need a constant. The FPR regulates fuel pressure against crank case vacuum which is influenced by engine speed. So, for some reason if your engine speed is high lets say cold air temp or cold engine, the FPR will show a different reading. If you like it's like putting the FPR in neutral and getting its default setting while not being influenced by anything. That's the only way I can explain it bud. Andy
  18. Hi Mate, It should read 43.3psi with the vac line disconnected from the FPR. When the vac line is connected the regulator drops the pressure down on idle. If your idle is fast or slow this will effect the pressure via the FPR with the vac line connected. Therefore if you want to see how you FPR is performing, disconnect the vac line and see what the pressure is. Cheers Andy
  19. Aaaaahhhhhhh............... Great minds think alike Andy!!! Text me your number mate, we need to get our heads together on this. My number is 07843 425220. Andy
  20. Yes Andy I know it was just an experiment. I wasn't critisising your work at all mate. The reason I ask is I am having a custom made rear light panel made to house quad LED rear lights and was thinking of doing it in carbon fibre. Can you get pieces that big? Andy
  21. Nice work Andy. Are you able to do large areas and get the weave straight? Andy
  22. Nice offer from Jeff. Make it an interesting proposition!! Andy
  23. Not really Bud, just personal preference. I used to work for Nissan when these were on sale in the UK and I have driven 8-9 manuals and autos all brand new. The auto just seemd a more together car to me. After a few weekends in the manual I began to get bored. The auto on the other hand seemed to be more suited to the GT type of package that the Z32 was. The other reason is that I have always been into drag racing and the auto is better suited to drag racing as it is quicker 0-100mph than the manual. The only downside is less control through the corners when you are on the limit. But for fast driving, there is nothing in it between the auto and the manual. I know this because it was my job to demonstare the cars to potential customers - hard life eh? Having said that, you will be able to push the auto closer to a manual on the limit with a shift at will set up with paddle shifts. Andy Andy
