Oh Hewow!! I Just Renewed My Membership!!!
Hello peeps! As some of you may know I have been here and there and busy blowing up gearboxes etc! Well, let's just say it's been and interesting year and leave it at that. I have also been busy subtly modding the car (more info to follow). Talking of Mods...... I must say I miss the cat and mouse antics over here! I wonder how long it will be before I get accused of causing trouble?! BTW I haven't renewed my membership because I have some tasty bits for sale, or I want to eat my weight in burgers at JAE, or I want to pm Funkysi and tell him he's a big girl.....Honest. LOL!! Only kidding! Andy

Really nice zed interior pics wanted for viewing
Hi Mate, It's down to personal taste i guess. Ups - it looks a little more interesting and tactile Downs - it's harder to maintain as it's not wipe clean My advice would be to go for all one colour, Z logo in same colour and deffo no piping if you want to achieve the same look as mine. If you are going to Z010, Japfest, Japshow/Japshow Finale (for which I am organising VIP hospitality) JAE or Zedfest then you can see mine in the flesh. Busy bunny this year!! BTW I did mine myself using Katzkin from California via Luke at the Zcentre. These covers are designed to replace the cloth seats with leather not the leather ones as they are slightly different in shape. So, your starting point should be TWO sets of fabric seats!!!!! To do this I suggest you get yourself a lifetime guarantee set of pliers from Halfrauds as you will break them removing the several hundred bull rings.

Fuel Rail (High level) is ready at last...
Hi Andy, The best way to do it is as follows:- While the plenum is off mark each one of the old connecters 1-6 as per there position on the engine. Mark up the new ones 1-6 Strip back all the electrcal tape which makes up the loom as far back as the back of the block near the bulk head. Carefully note which wires go where into each connector and solder the new connectors onto the old wires. You should now have all the old connectore (numbered appropriately)replaced with new connectors and much more legnth on each wire. Now lay the new wires on top of the rocker cover where the bootom of the plenum will fit (if that makes sense) and connect the connectors in their appropriate locations. By now you should be starting to see everything come together. You may want to do this as you go along as I think i seem to remember trimming back one of the wires at the back near the battery. Now you need to insulate the wires using self amalgamating tape and electrical tape and you will now have your own custom made loom! I then taped the coil pack wire in place to the parts of the rocker covers that stick up leaving a tab to remove later when plenum is fitted. I might have some photos of this at home. It is a pain in the arse and it takes some patience but IMHO is well worth the end results. If you ned a hand just give me a buzz 07843 425220 Andy

Anthony and Andy - as you are going to all this trouble please hide all your wires underneath the plenum. We are lucky with the Z to have an inlet plenum that has some wonderful curves. The less you have on the plenum (where possible), the better it looks including the central valley. As you guys are already in the process of grinding and polishing you mite as well get in all those nooks and crannies and hide the wires away too. If you are fitting new coil pack connectors, they will come with just enough wire to esxtend the old ones and tuck them all underneath the plenum. Here are a few before and afters...... Spaghetti chaos! Peace and Harmony......no wires down the centre of the plenum.

I think I know the car you are taliking about! I'm sure I met this guy when I was in the DUB scene. Are you in West London by any chance? BTW I would love to see your front bumper in the flesh. I am thinking of getting that one myself. Did you get it from the Z centre? Andy
