New product: TwinZ rear bumper with diffuser
Cracking work there guys!!!!!! I would be interested in the front and rear if possible. Can you tell us what the improvements are that you mention on the front bumper. I hope it still has the factory line between the two front lights and not the one that requires you to purchase a shallower centre panel. Regards, Andy

Double Clutching!
Ok time to get technical!! You have a drive line from the flywheel to the wheels. In this line you have various components transfering the power as follows:- Flywheel, 2 friction plates plates in the clutch, synchro mesh gears from 2nd upwards, lay shaft, gear box final drive, prop, diff, wheels. The key component in this process is the LAY SHAFT. The lay shaft is a rotating shaft in the gear box that connects to the final drive (wheels end) to the power in end of the gear box (engine/flywheel). When you select a gear, the gear cog is connected to the lay shaft when the clutch pedal is released (i.e up). If you have the car in NUETRAL and the clutch up and rev the engine, you will be spinning the lay shaft.... this is where the magic happens!!!! The whole idea is to get the lay shaft (by increasing the engine revs) spinning at the same speed as the approaching gear on a down change so that there is no jerk in the power line between the engine and the road wheels. This is one of the reasond Sterling Moss was so fast because he was so smooth into and out of corners. Confusing stuff but once you get it, it make perfect sense. Perhaps a diagram of a gear box will help!! I've got to run now to get ready to go to St Alabans for Wozzers birthday bash!! Hope my explanation helps!! Andy

Double Clutching!
Mate of mine went on a rally driving cousre and was told how to do it. He then told me how to do it (when I was 19) and I've been doing it ever since (when i'm in a manual car!). If you get it right, you can corner at amazing speeds with out loosing traction. It's also fantastic for dropping a cog and overtaking. If you get quick enough at it you will really see advantages in using it. Very, very addictive!!

Focal or JL Audio?
Take a look at the jl audio site and you will find a spec sheet for each sub recomending amp power to drive each one. I'd do the same for the fronts too, if you under power them you can potentially damage them. Andy

Focal or JL Audio?
You should be happy with that ballance mate. I have a 10 inch W3 in mine and it sounds awsome. Make sure you have a decent quality amp to drive it though. Andy

Focal or JL Audio?
Csi's Buddy. Take a look in my rides section and you can actually see the tweeters installed in the doors! For that kind of money (£300) the focals are better IMO. These speakers are mid to high range and you will need to run a sub to get base. Well worth it though. Andy

Focal or JL Audio?
Hi Mate, Don't go for the Coaxials. The Z doors are perfect for a set of components. I am running JL components in my front doors and they are extremely good!! (see my rides section). However................................. The focals do have slightly better clarity and are more stable (I have blown up 2 sets of JL' mids). Best mid range speakers Focal. Best Subs JL. Best Amp Genesis. Shimples! If you need any advice on the install or want to hear my system, just let me know, I'm only in Ascot. Andy
