  2. I need to pay off my debt mate, i'm only 22 and with a car like this it's just going to sink me into debt with insurance, usual running costs etc. I'm just going to get a cheap 306 diesel that I can run into the ground. This zed needs to go to a better home. Wish I could keep it, drove it to zedworld today to get it checked over and i'm already regretting the decision. It's by far the nicest car to drive which i've owned so far.

    quick but shite car
  4. Thanks i've just joined and advertised on there. Anymore for anymore?
  5. What other zed forums are there that I can advertise my zed for sale on? So far it's advertised on: 300zx.co.uk Autotrader.co.uk Pistonheads.co.uk sxoc.co.uk driftworks.com gtr.co.uk
  6. There was a guide I read somewhere on how to do it.
  7. I've just posted it up for sale in the cars for sale thread.
  8. Stupid me lol.
  9. So how much would my 1992 JDM TT Manual SWB Slicktop go for with just turned 50k miles on the clock, belts changed etc
  10. My car is on bilstein suspension and is lowered quite a lot.
  11. I'm in need of some money as i've spent a fair whack over the last couple of months. I'm contemplating stripping a lot of the upgraded parts off my zed to sell them and get me back into credit. The parts are as follows: 17" Nismo rays LM - 2 piece alloy wheels with nearly new goodyear eagle f1 gsd3 tyres. Apexi Power Intake which has litterally been on for all of 3 days. Apexi AVCR Boost Controller I also have some spl adjustable upper camber arms and adjustable lower tension rods on but if I take them off to sell is it going to ruin the handling of the car? Do you think this would drastically reduce the appeal and value of the car once I come to sell it? It's a 1992 JDM TT Manual SWB SLICKTOP with only 50k miles on the clock (I have zedworld certificates from when it was converted from km to miles). Chris
  12. Don't some people on here have a v8 in their zed?

  14. Do you think they will rise in value at all? I'm sure I saw a thread recently about this... I think if I came to sell the car i'd have to strip it back to standard and sell everything seperately at least. You'd think at the moment you could make a lot more money breaking the car up than selling it as a whole.
  15. So my car is making 336bhp and 372 lb.ft @ 1.04 bar.... is this about correct? I was hoping a wrong plug had been disconncted because i've only recently started to experience the juddering below 3k rpm whilst the engine is cold (since the boost controller was installed). Maybe it is the left o2 sensor which has gone afterall.
  16. Anyone got a pic where the PTU is then? Wanted to check if its been upgraded or not
  17. I have got the boost set at 1 bar on my avcr though and the boost was going safely to 1.04 bar everytime. But when we connected this plug on the left which had been disconnected, it automatically boosted to 1.15 bar without any adjustments to the avcr. Picture from left side (passenger) Picture from right side (drivers) Also, is that the ptu thats cable tied to the inlet mani on the first pic?
  18. The ecu diag check found the right hand side o2 sensor to be working properly though? Shall I go out and take some pics of the plugs which are disconnected?
  19. Today I took my car to have it rolling roaded at a garage i've used loads of times before. To give you an idea my car is a 1992 JDM TT Manual Slicktop. It has got basic mods such as apexi filter, kakimoto exhaust, blitz ecu, apexi avcr bc, ngk plugs. I setup the boost controller with a friend the other week who had installed a skyline engine into a 200sx so was pretty confident with installing an apexi avcr. The one thing that baffled him a bit was disconnecting some plugs in the engine bay (is this something to do with the stock safety boost cutting in)??? Anyway 1st run ) 324bhp @ 4820rpm & 364 lb.ft (this boosted to 1.04 on my avcr) The guy that was doing the r/r noticed there was 2 plugs disconnected in the engine bay either side of the inlet manifold (1 on the left 1 on the right). He tried connecting the one on the left (passenger side) and doing the power run again. 2nd run ) 358bhp @ 4870rpm & 394 lb.ft (this boosted to 1.15 on my avcr which i was quite worried about as all we did was connect 1 plug up????) We disconnected the plug again. 3rd run) 336bhp @ 4940rpm & 372 lb.ft (this boosted to a safer 1.04/5 on my avcr) Anyone know why this is happening and what are those 2 plugs which have been disconnected? We didnt try connecting both of them back up... I have recently been having a problem with juddering below 3krpm when the car is cold and thought it was an oxygen sensor. I did an ecu diag check and it came back saying the left oxygen sensor was not working as there was no flash at all from the engine light or ecu led. The right one was working fine. The mechanic who did the r/r seemed to think that the 2 plugs which have been disconnected were the lambda plugs? I can provide pics of the plugs if needed. Any help/advice would be appreciated. Chris
  20. lol, the reason I posted was because I know of the guy with the clio. It runs a 13.1
