  1. Yellow seems popular... The most stunning yellow I have seen was on a renault clio v6.
  2. You've sent a secure payment of £20.00 GBP to 300ZX.CO.UK through PayPal. You'll receive an email receipt shortly.
  3. Cheers mate, if I sold the wheels it could make some cash available for a few engine mods and better brakes :)
  4. Can someone photoshop some std z32 wheels on this pic please? And also if you can photoshop them in black/charcoal that would be great too!!
  5. I don't know. Someone said my wheels are worth at least £500 and std wheels are only worth around £100-150 depending on condition. What rubber is on the std wheels?
  6. If I was to go for standard wheels then id obviously want some cash my way.
  7. Anyone got any pics of the std z32 wheels but refurbed in black/anthracite?
  8. Pics would be great
  9. Anyone interested in swapping wheels with me? 17" Nismo LM 2-piece split rim alloys with pretty much 4 brand new goodyear eagle F1 tyres on all around. Pic's below: Ideally after dark wheels to suit the car but will consider all wheels. Does anyone know how much my wheels are worth?
  10. I have arms and rods. I think a change of fluid is on the cards and possibly some stainless steel braided lines.
  11. When I brake fairly hard I seem to get a kind of "pfffft" sound from the pedal? The brakes feel quite spongey and you really have to plough your foot into the bulkhead to get it to stop. Any ideas?
  12. Fair comments. Nice to know its working as it should then and there isn't a problem with the blowers.
  13. Why don't my blowers work? When I put the heating on auto and econ and set the temperature to around 30-40 the car heats up but it all seems to be coming from the vent at the front below the windscreen. If I change it to the windscreen heater option on the control panel I hear a little change in "blower sound" and still comes out the same vent as it should. None of the other vents seem to blow any hot/cold air. The car warms up quite quickly though still. Any ideas?
  14. 1) Brembo plain fronts £148.00 2) Brembo plain rears £125.00 3) Goodridge hose kit £58.00 Zinc fittings £66.00 Stainless fittings 4) Ferodo DS2500 fronts £117.50 5) Ferodo DS2500 rears £117 Are the above prices quite expensive? Where can I get them cheaper?
  15. Do you think there will be any problem running different back shocks/springs to the front?
  16. Yea it is low. So what springs would you recommend? Would it just be a case of changing the springs on the front shocks and leaving the rear setup alone as this seems ok?
  17. My car was imported and has some Bilstein lowered suspension on it. The kit isn't dampening or ride height adjustable. The actual quality of the ride is quite nice (not too stiff for the roads but a lot firmer than what the std suspension would be like). I think the front seems very low. This is also down to the aftermarket front bumper. The 17" wheels also seem to scrub the wheel arch liners occasionally when on full lock. I have not yet attempted to go over any speed bumps as of yet but id imagine it would catch as the front bumper seems to catch pretty easily on things like driving up my drive if I take it at a certain angle. I don't see any point in replacing the shocks as these seem ok. What springs would be best suited to my needs...? Here is some pics of the car in question.
  18. lol, just re-read that.
  19. I struggled to brake quick enough for the corner. Thought I was going to end up in a hedge. The brakes are not very sharp on this at all so i'll have to search for a good deal on some discs+pads.
  20. ya until i got to a corner
  21. Had a little play with a scooby sti tonight and I can't get over how shite my brakes are. I know this is the case with most 300zx's. On previous cars such as my S14a I've had brembo discs, ds2500 pads and goodridge lines. This setup seemed to work well. Where is the cheapest place to buy them for the zed?
  22. bump, how many of the avcrs have you got?
  23. Hi guys, I'm in the process of searching for either a apexi avcr or profec B spec II for my car. The zed already has the following mods... trust ik, blitz access computer (ecu), kakimoto cat back twin system, remote oil filter kit, ngk platinum plugs. What i'm not sure about is what to do with the ecu. Obviously with more boost it will need ajustments in the mapping. A guy on a thread (sorry not sure what his name was) was saying that my blitz access computer should be setup to allow more boost as they are generally quite aggressive anyway. So as long as the boost controller is setup properly and diagnostics run to show if the engine is running fine....then there will be no need for a new chip/remap? Can anyone comment on the above? What kind of power will I roughly be looking at with the above mods and what kind of psi can I run the car at? Advice appreciated.
