Found it and done a quick diagram....:biggrin: It may just be a case of metal bar come out of one of the plastic clips... or clip broken? Hope this helps.... Russ

Hi, it sounds like the bar connecting the key barrel and the solenoid to the lock mechanism has come away. If you can hear the solenoid going then it must be the mechanism itself.... You will need to remove door panel to check if bar from solenoid is still attached. does it sound like the passenger side tries to lock and then unlocks again? I will grab my spare mechanism and have a look later....
