  1. If so, do I need to do anything? Or just make sure my insurance doesn't rely on the reg number alone. I remember a thread about this Z31/32 issue, didn't think mine matched it tho. We are a country run by fools  Cheers Pete
  2. What has everyone got as the vehicle description on their logbook? Mine says "Nissan, Two axle rigid-body coupe" WTF?! Pete
  3. LOL :D Class!
  4. WTF happens to our road tax money then:mad:? And 60% or whatever tax on petrol - where does that go?? Are we paying again cos the government have spent it on other things? Will the next party/mayor elections in the London area be won by the party who promise to abolish congestion charges? Pete
  5. £20! :D Pete
  6. So stylewise, the Beemer is best to talk about, and the zed is best to show? Hee hee :D Sounds great mate, hope it gives you loads of trouble free miles  Pete
  7. Yeah beating the 1st skyline was such a buzz - I was shouting so much I missed the turn off :D  :D ! Pete
  8. Who's got one of these induction kits fitted? Thinking of getting one as my 1st Zed mod :D:D. Seen prices around £155. I fitted an K&N Induction kit to my last car, is it a similer job? Airbox off, few bolts and jubilee clips? Is there a difference in engine noise and do you notice quicker pick-up that much? Think my engines running a tad rich at the mo, which doesn't bother me as it gives det protection I'm told, will it affect this? Cheers for any help Pete
  9. Me too! I need 250 posts so I can post my own avatar - can't wait :o :o . And I was cut short . Good work craig! We are a sad bunch! Pete
  10. WTF is that?!! Says in Jap(anese:rolleyes: ) Perf Mag advert that it's an anti-hijack system. How does that work? It's been bugging me for ages, anyone got one? Sounds like it engulfs the hijacker in flames or something :D ! Cheers Pete
  11. I'm with Adrian Flux, when I told them my mods (quad exhaust, decat, Momo st wheel, front strut brace, split rims) it didn't affect the quote one penny :D . Still a fecking rip-off tho ;) , but the cheapest rip-off I could find! Cheers Pete
  12. Hey all, great that the site's back as I was "read-only" while it was down  . Right, I went to the Pod on Sunday for the 1st time, had copious aounts of fun, despite the cold! I had 6 runs, results as follows... 1. 1st go ever, span like crazy on the line, rolled in at 15.6 seconds beating a Focus by miles. The car changed up into 2nd before I started moving :D 2. Whupped a 1991 R32 Skyline in a time of 14.5s - that's more like it!! He got 16.0. :D 3. Beaten by a 5.7litre V8 Chevvy Camero K-reg, not really surprised. Time was 14.5 again, he got 13.8 @ 106mph 4. Another Skyline 1994 this time, beat him easily with 14.6 time. These Skylines aren't up to much are they Senna ;) ! 5. 2001 Caterham 7 Superlight!!! He finished only half a carlength ahead but got a foul as his reaction time was 0.014. So I beat a Caterham!!! Woohoo! Got my best time of 14.353 @ 98.4mph, he was given 15.3 I think. 6. 1991 TRD MR2 Turbo, freshly imported, beat him too, I got 14.4 he got 14.6. Also best reaction time of 0.866s. So 5 wins out of 6 aint bad eh! Especially considering the opposition! Well chuffed. I've done a search on decent times and mine don't seem bad with only Mongoose exhaust, K&N panel filter and de-cat? Got some great action pics too which I'll put in my rides section when I get time! Cheers Pete
  13. I always get 'em, little buggers  !
  14.  Damn thats quick Tony!!  I'll only give it up to 5 or so goes max. The whole day, seeing other cars etc, is well worth it! Pete
  15. Will do mate! Hey what about a forum where people can post 1/4mile times? Or am I just getting overexcited  :D ?
  16. Nice one , I think it is on - let me know if you do and I'll be there too. I read you have to get there real early to get a race pass, about 8ish.
  17. Something tells me your story has a moral? :D Aha - I've got it - don't buy a Mitsubishi? ;) You not tempted Tony? - I reckon you know that red's the fastest colour  . Pete
  18. Don't think I'd ever dare to take the zed to a track day just because of the sheer cost of new brakes, tyres, and anything that goes bang while you're out! Pete
  19. I really fancy trying the Zed out on the strip at Santa Pod while everythings working ;) . Who's been before? They say you need a helmet if you'll top 100mph, suppose mine'll do just under this but do they just take your word for it?? I've been to a couple but never driven. What's a good estimate for my TT auto, decatted, quad mongoose exhausts? Something to aim for. Was anyone at that Avon Park RWYB day when the Nitrous Mini destroyed the Lamborgini Countash? It's things like that which make 'em great! A mate's taking his 2001 Celica 140, he knows I'll cane his ass (!) but I wanna see by how much :D ! The website calender shows RWYB days most weekends from now til April. Cheers Pete
  20. Not had a PM from ya :( , except about the rich mixture a while ago. Fancy a spin at the weekend? Bet your phone bill was expensive after declaring all those mods ;) :D ! See ya Pete
  21. Ya blo0dy show-off Tony! Congrats Andy, you'll find yourself making any excuse just to go to the window - I do :D Pete
  22. Hey all, Is this normal? - My brake pedal makes a hiss noise when I press it, like air is being forced out somewhere  . It does it at all times, dont think performance is poor but then its done it since I've had it. Cheers for any help Pete
  23. Hi mate, gutted I missed another Zed on the road, must keep my eyes open! I'm in Kiddy for 2 weeks, actually Hartlebury, I work in Leamington which isn't *that * far to go normally. I've had the ar$e out with the Zed a couple of times, but nothing like what happened 1/2 an hour ago in the new fiesta. Straightening up off an A-road roundabout I went to speed up and the front wheels decided to go where they wanted. I weaved left and right just missing the kerb and sh1tt1ng myself and giving mrs shrimp a heartattack before regaining control. Must have been oil or something on the road cos it's not that cold here. I feel much safer in the Zed  its much more predictable. I'm just glad there was no-one else about :( . Now I have to take mrs shrimp out for an indian to "apologise" for some git with an oil leak. Cheers Pete
  24. No. 2 then? Guess you've got to keep the revs pretty sensible while the brakes are holding the car? Pete
