  1. I'll be there with my usual suspects convoy from up this way - say hello if you see me about, I'll probably have a for sale sign in the window!
  2. Excellent vid mate. LOL at about 5 mins in :x: :D Some really nice Zeds out there - nice to know when the only others I see are real shitters owned by little cheapo chavs who scrape enough to buy a poor one and then let it get worse.
  3. Brilliant, thanks chaps for the info!
  4. Looking for recommendation on where to stay - only have 24 hrs there so need a fairly central location that will allow us to cram in sights etc. Any suggestions?
  5. Ok - just frustrating to get it just right then sit in the queue at Santa pod (enigine running or not) with all the heat built up and then try to guess the right adjustment so not to kangaroo off the warning cut-off or run at 10 psi all the way down
  6. Thanks, but the larger tubs behave a bit differently to the T-25 (or the 360 BB version of them). I dare not risk anything over 13 psi without better fueling so need some T-28 specific settings. Got it all perfect last night - driven today now its hitting the cut again  Anyone with a Profec B II find any differences in different ambinet temps??
  7. ...but still on standard injectors? I know there won't be many - but if there is someone can you post your Profec settings as every time I get mine spot on, the next time I drive the car it keeps hitting the warning limit I have set at 13 psi. Have put it down to cooler air / under bonnet temps but in theory I though a boost controller should be unaffected by temperature?
  8. Try A-Plan (Special Schemes) as well - good on a modded, limited mileage car with previous fast car history taken into account as well.
  9. Somebody mentioned they got some Alcantara off e-bay recently, but I've done a search and can't really find anywhere that does the proper stuff for a decent price. Anybody got any recommendations / contacts? It would be for a re-skin of the doors, centre tunnel, dash etc but not the seats.
  10. I know, and they are all like that as well - you have to try very hard to see an ugly woman under 35. And as for the lap dancers.... ;)
  11. Riga mate...just don't fly Ryanair as they have a habit of cancelling your flight home. Try club essential on a Friday night http://www.essential.lv
  12. I think everyone will have good and bad stories about all breakdown services. Personally, I'm with the AA an they have been pretty good to me on the 2 times I have needed them, whereas a nice RAC patrol man blew the maxi fuses on my Zed and then left in a hurry :xxx:
  13. Bring back Heskey I say :D
  14. Just thought of another......fake cross drilled rear brake discs. Usually about twice the size of the front discs, but with no caliper in sight  Muppets!
  15. Clever and inovative manufacturing philosophies developed over several decades - these have in turn led to better supply chain quality, efficient production lines, methodical and respectful employees and generally a more reliable & cheaper product. Shame that in general they can't quite grasp the style & flair of Italian designers (Zed & a few others excepted)
  16. I like the 'simulation' dump valves - a little speaker that whooshes when you change gear in your weedy NA Nova/Paxo/Corsa/Fiesta etc. :xxx:
  17. Is that for a TT or just the NA?
  18. Been there mate, its a shit feeling I know when your pride & joy is wrecked but its gets better with time. Hopefully your insurance will cover it (unless your TPFT?) but even so you are alive which is most important eben though it doesn't seem to matter right now.
  19. Sounds like PTU mate - do the diagnostic as Legrath said and look for a code 21.
  20. Best of luck Chunk
  21. Much like the Supra I think - when they de-cat a small restrictor ring has to go in the exhaust to stop the boost rocketing over 1.2 bar, as the back pressure caused by the (two) cats is gone. Thought there would be some kind of fuel cut on an R34 though?
  22. MR2 owners site Sorry :x: :D
  23. I've also heard that Keighley Trade Centre should be avoided. Trouble with these import places now is that they are picking up the tat avavilable for next to nothing in Japan mand bringing it over to sell for 2-3 times the price. My advice would be to look at the cars available on this site in the for sale section, the majority of which are owned by knowledgeable and honest guys. You can never guarantee a probelem free Zed, but I think you have a far better chance of finding a good one here. Also think about extending your search....I went all the way to deepest Essex to get my first Zed!
  24. What a great colour....what is it?
