  1. Hi, I was registered on here in 2009 and for a good number of years but fell away around lockdown as the car became more and more a garage ornament. I am interested in getting back into my old account but am assuming it has been locked due to inactivity. I was registered under the user name Gabriel in the Scottish section, if someone could point me in the right direction that would be great. Cheers Martin.
  2. such a buitifull motor, forget the engin, I could just happily look at it sitting there. Wish mine looked like that.
  3. next time round can we have a virus that attacks morons and leaves the old and those with underlying conditions alone, might make the world a much brighter place. At the very least we might be able to get some bog role. On a more serious note did you see that all buckfast production has stopped. My area of scotland is in its second full day of mourning.
  4. I've seen body kits that don't look as good as that. Happy Birthday.
  5. Mine is currently burried in the garage under the contents of the house while we have some work done. With any luck in the new year I can get her out and fixed. I have a notion to use her as a daily for a while, I have only put about 3000 miles on her since I got her in 2009.
  6. Not really, draging around the electrical substation that would be required to provide the power that would be required to move something of that weight around would give it away. At the very least tripping over the 11kv cable might alert anyone that it was there. This is one of the things that bugs me about the whole electrical thing, polititions in particular ( but not just them ) throwing out statments that we will have this target or that target for vehicals by whatever date with no concept of the work that will need to go into upgrading and reinforcing the transmission grid and distrobution network to support all these vehical which will need charged. Just as an example, and apologies that I don't have a link to the paper, but its apparently estimated that if today we were to convert every car on the uk roads to electric, we would need the equivalent of 6 new nuclear power stations just to support this increased demand, at the moment our existing ones are reaching end of life, and there seems to be few plans to build new, were going to struggle to support the load we have with wind, let alone this new demand. Sorry that was all a bit ranty, its the background I have and its always annoying when you here statments and know those making them have NO concept of the major work thats going to be required to make it work. My other pet hate is news paper stories about how some we ned was saved by his new nike trainers while trespassing in a substation......but thats a rant for another night.
  7. can you imagine the range anxiety you would get with an electric one of those.
  8. Well that's ruined the allusion for me, I thought on seeing the badge that Nissan were going into super tankers.

Sorry to clutter the thread but where at the top is the price, i'm not seeing prices on any of the sale threads. Cheers
  14. I once had my brakes and clutch go at the same time, didn't really have much time to worry about it as it turned out the rest of the car was on fire at the time.
  15. The whole electric car thing presents all sorts if problems, as alluded to above. If every car on the uk roads just now was changed for an electric one, we would need in the region of 7 new nuclear power stations over what we have now. We would need to upgrade the overhead line and cable network, build new substations, and generally be working on the infrastructure for the next 40 years. Don't get me wrong, this is what is going to happen, and long term it will be a good thing but most people when they casually talk about us all going electric, and doing it by a certain date, don't really understand what needs to be done in the back ground to make it work.
  16. I'm sure Aston Martin are up there, the statistic is something like 95% of Aston's ever built are still road worthy. I was going to say on the road, but some of the older ones Re probably worth so much they never Ikea see the light of day. - - - Updated - - - Where the fek did ikea come from. Bloody phone
  17. Surely there is nothing "Greener" than continuing to keep old cars on the road, rather than manufacturing new ones, where the processes of obtaining the raw materials for new construction have massive impacts on the environment, particularly the mining methods required to obtain the metals for battery manufacturing.
  18. Not knowing is not a defence, the condition of the road is there responsibility, just push them and don't accept any fobbing off.
  19. In the interests of continuing innuendo, my knob has been out of action since the kids arrived. It was fairy new and un molested, but has suffered a bit from neglect.
  20. I'm starting to worry about this place, first it was Funkysi Lubing up his ring, now were queuing up to be Jimmered.
  21. 9. Folk who don't even crack a smile, let alone say thank you when you hold a door open for them. Same goes for drivers who do the same when you let them out at junctions etc. 10. Did I mention Trump already.
  22. 1. People who don't seem to realise the middle lane is for over taking, and just sit there lazy arses there for ever. 2. people who cant stay in there own lane on a multi lane round about, then abuse you when they nearly take the nose of your car. 3. People who come barreling down a slip road and expect you to slow down/change lane when they are the ones who are ment to match speed an pull out safely. 4. Neds who seem to think that everyone else wants to hear there shite music coming from there cars. Same applies to buses and trains, and while I'm at it ****tards who walk down the street with the loud speaker switched on on there phones which they then end up shouting into like a captain kirk impersonator. 5. Parents who take there kids to soft play then sit there fat asses in the cafe and take no notice of what there little cherubs are doing, that is until you give one of there we scrotes a row for nearly flattening your toddler, THEN their fekin interested. 6. DONALD TRUMP. 7. Everyone who voted for Trump. 8. And Americans in general for just letting it happen.
  23. Congratulations. I parked up the Z just before my daughter was born with the intention of getting a few things sorted out. She will be 6 this year, car is still sitting untouched in the garage, though her and her brother do think it is just there for them to play in. Kids take up so much more of your time than you ever thought they would before they were born, but honestly there is nothing better in this world. Enjoy every minute you can.
  24. There was also a segment done around 1998, remember because it wasn't long after I saw my first one parked up in our factory car park. Seem to remember it revolved around tunning, culminated in a dino session with a vert which had been converted to TT topping out the Dino they were using. Only saw it that once so my recollection may be a bit fussy.
