Didn't want to clutter up SI's thread on exhausts. Anyway, saw you had got a custom set up done, who did you use, I really need to get mine changed but am new to all this and want to go somewhere people trust to do a decent job. If any of the other local guys read his and have any recomendations please feel free to chip in. Cheers

Feel your pain ATLAST, they described my back as multi level disk degridation. Basically the bottom 3 disks in my back are worn out and don't do there job properly. And the best bit is its inoperable as there is nothing to fix. When I got the first MRI scan it was funny to see the image of my spine, all of the disks show up as a light colour except the bottom 3 which were black. Thinking back it wasn't actually that funny. :-( Have you tried Tramadol, need to get from the Doc. It will take the pain away from everything from your hair down but can really impair your ability to do stuff like drive etc, I save mine for when its really bad and just take them and go lie down. Back on topic for everyone else if you do take these or the co-codimol really dont drink.

the stuff i was taking was from the dentist, when he gave me it he said dont drink when you take it. Went to the chemist and when she handed over the bag she said don't drink when taking these. Got home opened the bag and there was a note in the bag which said AVOID ALCHOHOL. Talk about getting a point across. Anyway made the comment to my sister inlaw who is a Dr and she said that they prescribe this stuff to alcoholics to try to get them to stop drinking as the reaction to alcohol is so violent that you simply couldn't drink if you were taking them.

I recently had antibiotics which said not to drink until at least 48 hours after the course was finnished, kind of forgot that last bit and had a few pints at a birthday party. NOT good, hate to think the nick I would have been in if I had drank while actually taking them. ATLAST have you discussed with your DR the ammount of paracetamol you are taking, I've been on prescription co-codamol for about 6 years now and the big issue has always been not taking more than 4000mg of paracetamol in a 24 hour period. I think the best advice stellaz is to read the lable in the meds, if there is an issue with alcohol it will say. If it does give advice to avoid alcohol believe it and don't take risks. God when did I suddenly become a sad grown up.......I'll get my coat.

HI Alan, The car came with an after market exhaust, as most do, and between 2 and 3.5 thousand reves drones like a git. It really is unbarable. I've done a search and seems to be a problem some have reported. I had a quick look and there is no resonator to speak of imediatly after the cats or any crossover pipe. I was thinking of taking it in somwhere and seeing if they could fit a couple of larger resoators and a crossover pipe. Do you think this would help, any other idea?

i've finally got one. And with the exception of the exhaust which is driving me nuts it does seem to be working. ( touches lots of wood just in case )

Just back from Hampden. All I can say is briliant, forgot just how much these old guys still rock. And best of all, a rock concert where I didn't feel like the oldest person in the crowd.

yip q'd for 3 hours to get the tickets the day they came out. Rubbish seats but to be honest I don't think its really going to matter. Saw them in the late 90's in the SECC, first time I was ever there when the whole crowd front to back were all jumping around going nuts.

Got to agree guys rock all the way, but saw them last week at hampdem park and it was brillient. Still i'm sure AC/DC this tuesday night will be even better.

Concert to see again would be The Almighty in "The Garage" Glasgow, maybe holds 1000 people at a squeese. Was the bands 21st aniversery concert, there was little talk, no BS and a relentless march of one rock song to another for nearly 2 hours. First time I saw them they supported Iron Maiden 1990/91 at the SECC in Glasgow, if it had been any other band they would have blown them off the stage.

1998. I worked at NEC Semiconductors in livingstone where it was normal to see some nice cars in the car park. Looked out the window one day and there sitting in the car park was a bright red TT, had no idea what it was, just new I wanted to get one. 11 years on I still haven't got one. Hope to change that soon!

if you have microsoft outlook you can highlight all of the photos you want to use, right click your mouse and select send to mail recipient, you will then be asked if you want to keep the photos original size, select no and it will open an e-mail with your photos as attatchments, size reduced to around 50k. Simply then drag them back to your folder or upload them to where you want.

in 9 ball as said already it is ok to jump as long as you strike down on the ball and dont scoop or chip it over. to be fair when me and my mates play we are all to sh1t to do it properly so would normally let any sort of jump shot stand.
