Radiator Leaking
Sounds like it's becoming a big job, maybe too much for me! Are all the other items you mention normally included with the 60k service?

Package delivery
Try interparcel.com their prices are very good and they will take large items. Please post back here with your success or otherwise.

Radiator Leaking
Looks as if this might be one of the simpler jobs to do on the Zed :smash: Should I change my cambelt and water pump whilst the radiator is out? I bought them months ago ready for the 60k service which I planned to have done by Ztech when the time comes, but they're a bit tied up according to recent posts so is it a job I should attempt myself? I'm a bit handy but no expert, and I don't want to start something I might not be able to finish.

Radiator Leaking
Looks like I'm a lucky bunny, mine is certainly the same as the second photo and it also looks the same as the picture supplied. Is it a fairly straightforward job to replace the radiator or are there sensors and leads etc. that I need to watch out for?

Radiator Leaking
So I don't make a tit of myself, what is the difference between the TT and N/A? EDIT - Sorry, don't answer this...I only noticed the last post and have just read the earlier ones that answer the question. Many thanks for your help, I will buy tomorrow!

Radiator Leaking
I've been phoning/emailing around today to find a replacement radiator. I have only received one positive reply so far but don't know whether it is the correct rad or not. They've sent a picture and core sizes with a price of £77.72 including vat and uk delivery. (Great price if it's the correct rad!) I've attached the picture they sent me, can anyone tell me whether it is the correct one for me or not? (Jap import Z32 1995 series 4 N/A manual 2+2) EDIT - I've just checked their drawing against my Zed and it certainly LOOKS the same........at that price should I go for it?

Radiator Leaking
Can anyone tell me if I need a specific radiator for my 1995 series 4 N/A manual or will any 1989/1999 Z32 be OK, even TT or Auto?

But from where?????????

Radiator Leaking
Pricewise I would certainly prefer a good second hand one.....but how can you tell if it's good? How much is a new one likely to cost? I've looked on Koyo's website and they are saying "R1439 - 90/96 300Z turbo - $549 BUT Sale price $349" I guess they're in the States so there would be carriage/duty etc to consider. Where can you get one in the UK? Would the Nissan one be cheaper than the Koyo? Is the Turbo different from the N/A (which I have)? Anyone got a GOOD second hand radiator for a 1995 Series 4 N/A Manual? Wishfully - Dave

Radiator Leaking
Went to the Rolling Road today but on the way noticed I was loosing water! Closer examination revealed small crack in plastic top of radiator drivers side. Any chance of repairing this or does it mean a new radiator? Cheers - Dave

IOW Trip - Read this!!!!
Good, I'm pleased about that. I have been looking forward to this trip as I haven't been over there for more than ten years. I doubt if I would have gone if it had been changed to October.....Too bl@@dy cold for my thinning bl@@d when the sun goes down that time of year.

Rolling Road Day
I will be there as well, about mid-morning, but as a spectator only! I wont be going on the rollers (neither will my Zed  )

IOW Trip - Read this!!!!
Or IOW could be brought forward 1 week to 25/26 August and my Hackpen meet could be changed to 11th or 18th August or even later into October. BUT I still think we shouldn't change anything until the Billing date is fixed. Dave

IOW Trip - Read this!!!!
I think we should wait until the Billing date is decided before deciding. There have been so many changes on dates recently that we could re-arrange our meets only to find that Billing is on another date. I agree the calendar is getting a bit crowded for SC but I also agree that October is a bit risky for camping so IMO the IOW dates should stand. Cheers - Dave

Go to 'user cp' - 'Edit sig' is first item listed on the left, 'edit avatar' is the fifth item!

Exchanging Jap N/A clocks for UK TT clocks!!!
But my clocks are Jap, the fuel gauge and odometer&mileometer do not work and where would I get silver dials? (Actually the UK cluster I have are white dials and silver facia....see photo below). Cheers - Dave

Exchanging Jap N/A clocks for UK TT clocks!!!
Well, I've got the plugs (many thanks Wez) and also the diagrams I need for the two clusters (many thanks Graham S) BUT................... It looks as though the changeover is beyond my ability. I could do the physical rewiring no probs but the diagrams indicate that the two clusters are too different to allow the electrical changeover. e.g. S4 has an airbag connection, S1/2 does not S4 has a security connecction, S1/2 does not S1/2 has rear fog connection, S4 does not (this is not a problem) The speedo connections are so different I cannot sort them out. Etc...etc.....etc. SO.......it looks as though I might have to throw the towel in on this project which is a crying shame as I would love to see the new white/silver cluster on my Zed. UNLESS SOMEONE CAN TELL ME HOW TO DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would you buy a car without a decent forum to back it up?
I don't know the other clubs being mentioned here but perhaps they're not Web-based clubs like ours. I was a ZClub member but didn't renew a few weeks ago because it's like a morgue on their website compared to ours.......but they're not a web-based club with only about 20% of members being computer users so it's the same small handful of people over and over again on their site. We are very lucky with our great club.....it's always very busy here and plenty to discuss/argue about, as well as being extremely helpful and friendly. GREAT CLUB.........GREAT CAR. Cheers - Dave

Too-wide screen cured!!
But I'm using IEv6 and mine's fine!!!!!!!!!

Too-wide screen cured!!
There is no question the problem was caused by some change(s) to this site. My picture was ALWAYS O.K. until a little while ago when, I think, this site was upgraded to a later version. Then I, and many other members, posted complaints that the picture was overlapping their screen. A couple of days ago I noticed the picture was filling the screen and NOT overlapping. I have never changed the settings on my 17" widescreen laptop......I wouldn't even know how to do it......so it has to be something done on this site very recently. It is puzzling that some members are STILL experiencing the problem, it's certainly something I can't explain...way over my head. I'm just really, really glad that mine's O.K. :hyper: Cheers - Dave

Too-wide screen cured!!
I've just noticed the irritating 'too wide' screen effect on our site has been cured. :hyper: :hyper: It has been a pain in the butt for weeks now, having to keep shifting the image from one side to the other in order to see all of the information. Many, many thanks to whoever is responsible for the cure. Cheers - Dave

Sorry Gaz - MSN means nothing to me, we'll have to continue to communicate on this thread (so as not to clutter up the other threads on Hackpen meet)

Hackpen Meet 25th August
Hi Andrew - Not sure what you mean by your first question, are you talking about Hackpen or IOW? And yes, if you could rouse bum'ed and tell him about the Hackpen meet I would be grateful. I have been trying to reach him for days but he's not been on this site for days. Would you please ask him to post on this thread whether he can make it to our Hackpen meet or not. Many thanks - Dave
