  1. Cheers Legrath. I haven't had the brackets made yet as I was going to wait until I get the discs. So I could buy either 350z or the R34 disc and have the braket made to fit after? Thanks, Ant
  2. I have evo 8 calipers and have been searching for some discs to buy. I have read that people who have had the evo calipers have gone with 350z discs, would the r34 disc fit with these calipers? Would like to fit some big 355mm aswell. Thanks, Ant
  3. Thanks for the nice comments. From what you have all said I agree and think the throttle cover should remain black. Just got to keep it all that clean now lol. Ant
  4. Got it from zcentre. http://www.zcentre.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?cPath=21_84&products_id=381
  5. Did look at that, not really my cup of tea. Thanks anyway.
  6. Speaking to John Dixon, he said to go with my current setup for running it in then decide after whether to go with a dual intake or something else. Cheers, Ant
  7. A little Update. Got a lot done since last time. Only a few more things to do, a couple of jubilee clips which I need to replace for new ones and just need to sort a couple of wires too. Apart from that it's pretty much ready to fire up in a few days for the first time and I'm nervous about doing it. Still to decide whether to keep the throttle cover black or go with orange, may stick with black to break the orange up a bit. Had the wrong lower bracket sent through with the Aspec rad (sent one for a N/A) so Custom Exotics modified this one to fit. I was surprised how much bigger the SMIC were to the OEM ones. Speaking to Brett at Custom Exotics he was suggesting maybe making up a plate to cover some of the pipework and wires at the back. So a few more decisions to be made. I've put a few more pics up if anyone is interested. Cheers, Ant
  8. Bit fiddly, as I'm trying to hide the loom as well. Right PITA to get it through the bulk head, ended up taking the glovebox and a few other bits out to make it easier. Enjoy, it's not too bad. Thanks for that Jimmer. Just out of interest what is the connecter for? Ant
  9. Thanks Kev. That's what I thought it was first of all, but found that to be another connecter which is on another part of the loom. I'm starting to think it may be from something I've deleted. Cheers anyway Kev. Ant
  10. Cheers guys. Will loose mine as well
  11. I have been fitting the new EFI loom and have got a connecter that I don't know where it goes to. Its on the bunch with the AAC Valve, Exhaust gas sensor, VTC solenoid, Injector and coilpack. Here is a pic of the connector below. I ve looked at the online manual and it doesn't seem to show this connector. Anyone know where it goes please? Thanks, Ant
  12. I have a Ashspec rad which doesn't have the pipe for the expansion bottle. Is it ok to run without the expansion bottle? I think I remember reading that it was ok but I can't find the post. So is it ok without? Thanks, Ant
  13. I have had all other wires relocated out of site as well, except the EFI loom which we are working on at the moment.
  14. Relcated mine to the passenger footwell. Followed DUBs write up from the aussie forum. Extended every wire. Right PITA.
  15. Going to be running them on top under the throttle cover. You going to be running them under the plenum?
  16. Coming together very nicely there Andy
  17. That looks very nice. You got anymore pics Si?
  18. That's fine Andy. Didn't want you to fit it and have problems. It's going look very nice when fitted. Should of guessed that you had checked this before hand with all the work and planning gone into it ;)
  19. Had a look at mine today. You may have already checked this out, then please tell me to shut up :tongue_smilie: Might be worth checking the clearance between the control bar and the cam rocker covers. Mine looked like there wasn't much clearance betwwen the two. Don't want you to get around to fitting and find they rub with the chrome pipe over them. Fingers cross they are fine.
  20. Wish that was my plenum Andy. Mine is not as good as that one lol. When I get 5 mins I will take a closer look at mine and compare to yours if you don't mind to see what needs doing. Another thing to add to my to do list.
  21. Looking superb there Andy . Glad you decided to paint/coat the throttle linkage and throttle bodies the same colour as balance bar. I will admit that i wasn't sure myself in doing this, but Custom Exotics said I needed to do it to break the chroming up a bit. So glad I done what they said. I have done away with my cruise control as well and you have got me thinking now about the single control pulley, whether to do the same?? I've enjoyed following this and keep the pictures coming.
  22. Cheers Bigh. Nothing is where it should be now which makes it more confusing lol. Those connectors I have are on the otherside to the main fuse box. Cheers, Ant
  23. Trying to get down there most days for at least a couple of hours. Really can't wait now
  24. Cheers for that Tudor. I have removed the stock oil sender as I have a aftermarket gauge and sender, so from what your saying I will no longer require this. I did have a auto but had a manual conversion done so this will make these redundent. All makes sense now :D Thanks again Tudor. Ant
