My son and I are just collecting the parts to onvert his R33 GTR to a single. From our investigation we think that if you try fitting an old truck turbo like T88 or similar then yes you are going to get late spool up times, and a big kick when it does boost. Which is fun but boring in the end. However, a new tech turbo can be better than two singles, both in terms of lag (spool time) and power. But the A/R and housings also need consideration as these too affect spooling/power. Not sure its worth the bother on a Z. IMHO

Need to remove the cats as well (I think).

sorry for late reply, been away. My son had a frind look at it while I was away, turns out there was a broken wire to the coil, which he fixed, and TWO injectors are faulty. One does not work, period, and one has a very poor spray pattern. I bought these from someone on here too.

Thanks Jimmer, I have done that and it does click, the injectors were second hand from a guy on here. I should have checked them before fitting I know but I just wanted to get it running again asap and now I am regrettting it. The injector I am not to bnothered about, I think it just needs replacing. Its the coul pack prob thats driving me mad.

Prior to fitting the injectors engine was fine, have done compresson check and all is fine. Engine was sweet before. In all respects so its not an engine problem. I have checked the actual coil pack and its OK, I have no signal from two of the pins on the coil pack connector. Its the No 2 cylinder. I also have fitted 555 injectors and No 5 doesnt fire, but as its got a spark I assume its the injector, what signal should I get from the injector connector, and when? I have fitted a brand new series 4 PTU, and this made no difference, so my old PTU was ok. I have tried two ECU's, problem stays the same. I am assuming its a broken wire, or two. I have looked at the online manual and can not find any useful info on how to check the wires. I have looked at the CAS wires and they look OK. what ever I do nothing changes. Can anyone help please? I just dont know where and how to look further.

Go for 19"'s. I have 9.5 rear, 8.5 fronts, cant remember the off set, but the front is different from the rear. Mine fill the arches well, dont rub ever, and the ride is fine. 18's are for girls, lol. (not that theres anything wrong with girls)

I think you need to re think this, it is so cheap it HAS to be wrong. Easy as that...

My understanding is that the number plate can only be smaller than specified if there is a specific recess for the plate that restricts its size, as there is on the rear of a J spec. Did you get any points?

Does anyone know for sure what the penalty is for no plate on the front? As I often run no plate at all, never been pulled for it.
