Sorry I am late but when I first read this I thought "loose pulley"...Glad you found it.

Fry, you are right of course. its just a bit of a sore subject, not so much my particular case but the topic in general. But the last thing you need is someone offering poor and inaccurate advice. I have bought a brand new set of Nismo injectors, which will go in vary soon. I am then going to sell the "old" ones with a proper description so as there is no misunderstanding.

Oh, one other thing, your suggestion to re set the ECU to "map it to the new injectors" Ha ha ha. A standard ECU will not recognise 555cc injectors anyway, and I admit to knowing very little about ECU's, but I think your suggestion has no merit what so ever in any circumstance regarding injectors.

Tubz. First, he is at fault, period. Second, who said I did not fit new O rings? Me? No, and if you knew anything you would know that an injector not working, as in it is recieving a signal, but nothing happens, CAN NOT be due to O rings. As for the time, I didnt get round to fitting them for quite some while, and he knew this, but does this mean its OK to sell things that DONT WORK? Not in my book it doesnt. And with regard to your last paragraph, what a load of rubbish, go and learn about cars before you try and find fault with me. But just so you stand as much chance as possible to understand: One injector DOES NOT WORK, one has a SUSPECTED POOR PATTERN. I can see why a new O ring will fix that. Tune? Why, what state was my engine in in the first place? You dont know. Maybe it was perfect, as it happens it ran really well, it had just had a new cam belt etc, new plugs etc etc. So, lets re tune an engine allready IN TUNE. Re-set the ECU, I fitted another ECU with a JD chip, but both ECU'S gave the same problem. And the JD one had been without power for months, maybe I need to disconnect the battery for another year or two. So NO IT WILL NOT solve my poor running. Maybe I should try some more O rings? And last, new O rings are a good idea, and I would not go through all the bother without fitting them, BUT, a perfectly good second hand O ring is just that, perfectly good. And my point? To try and make others aware that this seller is not completely trustworthy. Why? To save anyone else getting caught. and yes this is a public forum, but if this does not affect you why are you adding to it? Expecially with a load of guess work and ideas based on assumption and lack of experience? Tell you what, dont answer as I cant be bothered to read it.

Maybe I was unlucky, maybe you were just lucky. Does not change the fact that on two occasions he promised to send new O rings, each time he didnt bother....

Just an update, I was given his mobile number form a member here. I sent him a polite text. He denied all knowledge of any faults but accepted that he should have sent new O rings as he said he would send some new ones ASAP. Well he never did send them, I reminded him, in case he forgot, but nothing. So thats it, he is now confirmed (in my eyes at least) as a lying cheating scumbag, and of course because he failed to send the O rings I now dont believe a word of his denials either.

which are more sought after
I have had a LWB TT Auto, and now a SWB TT Man. The SWB somehow "feels" so much more special. And no rears seats is great. Prefer the shorty look too. Targa Tops are a must though.

Auto oil change?
The trick, way back when I did autos, was to make sure the dip stick was really dry before dipping, and remember, warm, engine running in park or neutral.
-
which car to go for??
Manual conversion from the early Supra is cheap, bigish single turbo and BIG horspower is there. Better built than a Z I think too.
-
Oxford area??
I am in Aylesbury, but my Z isnt working either, when mine is running again maybe?
-
changed auto oil now its funny
Sounds like maybe short of oil. Check in park, engine running, warm I think, IIRC. If its low, as you stop the oil runs away from the filter, pressure drops, no drive, oil runs back, picked up again, pressure rises, drive.

lifters
What he said. My brother leaves it in for many times longer than the tin says and he never has a prob.

Anybody remember fizzys?
I had a Garelli Record, polished the ports and it pulled a bit better. We used to spend all night looking for any other moped just to thrash it. Inc those weedy Fissies. Lol. Went through a few barrells and pistons though. :-(. And electrics...

Autobox problem
If you need to change the filters its because the box has had it anyway, 90% of the time its a waste of money...but it can prolong things for you.

lifters
Lifters can get gooed up, and take a while to free off only when they are really warm. and thet get stuck again when cold. Some cleaner in the oil can help.

rb 300
oh, ok, thanks. And for the ECU?

rb 300
what did you use for the wiring/ECU on the S13?

Turbo Technics, Thank You.
Never heard of any lawsuit, what sort of thing were they supposed to have done/not done?

Turbo Technics, Thank You.
My son bought a new turbo, GT3082 ball bearing. It arrived and we thought that maybe we had been sold a Chinese copy. I spoke to Turbo Technics, they could not have been more helpful. My son took it over there Saturday morning and the owner Jeff Kershaw had a look and set my sons mind at rest. All for no charge and no profit to them. Good old fashioned nice people. They will always be my first call in the future for anything turbo related.

How do they fit?
If he is "very good" he should either know where they go, be able to figure them out, or knowing his failing should have marked them. IMHO
-
Wheel studs....
Courtesy Nissan do them I think. Zedworld make mistakes sometimes, as we all do, so worth checking.

rb 300
If you want to use an RB26 from a GTR you fit the sump and gearbox from an RB25 to get rid of the 4wd. If my engine blows up I intend on doing the RB25 route, they are as tuneable as an RB26, just a bit smaller. As one of the links said, the original 300 loom can be used if you change the coil and injectors connectors and probably odd other wires too. The firing order is different but as you are going to extend the wires thats no prob. And of course the ECU will need work but the wiring side sounds fairlly easy. Some use an Zemulator ?????
