  7. no worries mate, good luck
  8. is that right no boost gauge on that model? yes your correct the sensor plugs into the connector and a vac pipe comes off the balance bar (which is prob the 1 blanked off) to the sensor that vac pipe is where it reads the intake pressure from, strange.
  9. well thats a new 1, would explain code26, does the boost gauge work? Cant understand why someone has removed it, maybe once had a boost controller? you wont get the correct engine mapping in boost without it, it measures the pressure in the intake when engine is in boost and sends a signal to the ecu to map the fuel and timing for optimum performance, i cant see any advantages in it not being there, what does the car run like in boost?
  10. yes sorry mate meant to say thats a pic of a left hand drive, senser will be on the otherside
  11. i said it as a joke nick :)
  12. the boost sensor is the object in the yellow circle the conector and harness is the grey wire block that goes to it disconnect the harness and clean it up might be covered in the dreaded green shit
  13. turn them round the otherway if it starts then you had them on the wrong way, is there no arrow's on them
  14. might be worth changing the battery on the alarm fob, flat battery can make an alarm do weird things as it fooks about with the codeing or fault with the alarm circuit some where even if its just to rule it out, a good cat1 alarm and imobaliser will imobalise the fuel and ignition circuits, it could be possible that the ignition side of the imobiliser as failed or it could be wired into the ptu circuit somewhere (if that can be done) or like i said try another ECU
  15. or try another ECU
  16. have you got an alarm and imobaliser on the car?
  17. lol maybe you done a few more miles in it
  18. yes mate we found the problem and sorted it out goes like a fookin rocket again  but it now developed a petrol leak so i just gotta sort that out but its no big deal. How about your car?

  21. tell her your thinking of her health by letting her run around after you, thats what keeps her fit and so slim. Mind you after 6 years your due for a new 1, you wouldnt keep a car that long :x:
  22. just an idea, dis-connect the battery and leave it over night ECU will re-set, connect battery back up in the morning and try to start it if it still wont start then do ECU check then any new faults will register
