  1. I'm a Train Driver and its not funny when you hit someone or something, we had a train that hit a tractor going across a level crossing because the farmers worker didnt contact the signalman before he crossed to see if any trains where due, smashed the tractor to bits and the front of the Train, luckerly no one was hurt, the Tractor driver jumped out and the Train Driver ran back through the coach, if he hadnt it would of killed him. Plus ive hit someone in my Train who was running along the track, came round a bend at 100mph and there they where, you cant stop a 200 tonne Train or steer out the way like a car, you just wait for the impact and its a sound you never forget as the body goes under and smashes to bits. I'm sorry to say i didnt find it funny, as much as i like Clarkson, or in good taste for light entertainment, i've seen it too many times and people take too many chances for real.
  2. and you start doing the cross word in the sunday paper and start recording programs because they end too late.
  3. maybe when we get it back we could have a little counter next to it to show how many people have viewed the rides, if thats possible?
  4. is one of them indianzx
  5. Hi and welcome, if you ask anyone on here they all have their own horror stories to tell, but thats individuel cars and not the zed as a whole so its no reflection of the reliability of the cars to be honest, most common problems are electrical as the electrics are getting on a bit now. My own horror story is 1 of the turbo's seizing up which is an engine out job im afraid, some of the other problems myself and other owners have had are self inflicted by modding. Buy a good well looked after car, maintain it properly especially turbo models plenty of oil changes and it will give you miles of enjoyment
  6. had mongoose on mine when i got it, but changed it for the vailside evolution that i had on my other zed, not because the vailside sounded better i just like big single exit zorsts each side but the mongoose sounded fine, dont know if it performes any better or worse than the vailside it was just my prefrence
  7. yeah be great if some of us can get down there
  8. Its the E46 but dosnt know how to use the traction control and dosnt want to use it because of burning the clutch out so its down to driver ability on launch
  9. Ok my mate has an M3 and is always harping on about how quick it is and how much HP it has against a zed also how much better the sequential gearbox is in changing gears on accelaration against the rawness of the turbo's ???? what ever he means about that. Anyway the gauntlet has been thrown so a date at the pod 20th May has been penciled in for me to take up the challenge, so if anyone else is interested in a meet and a run down the strip that day?
  10. yes but you know your not allowed to play with elastic bands tho lol

  15. Is that for your bumper Vijay? Hope they arnt holding it so you have to pay duty on it
  16. never realised it was meant to be pernounced like that allways thought it was for Turbo zed
  17. Mine is for obviouse reasons but thinking of losing the "got a zed" bit
  18. Also you have to remember, you do run the risk of blowing the Turbo seals if you de-cat an older engine with old turbo's, which could cost you a lot more in the long run unless you have about £1,500 to spare to replace them if they should go.
  19. Bring back the Stocks!! Bloody do gooders have caused the breakdown in society, the little scrot's know they can get away with it. The perpetrator isnt the guilty one anymore, they just need help because of their upbringing, the Victim is the guilty one for putting temptation in the path of such scrot's  I had a poxy upbringing but dont go around vandalising other peoples property. Trouble is the parents of these scrot's where never disiplined either so their offspring have never been taught right from wrong, and so it will go on in a vicious circle, its going to be a great country to live in in 10 or 20 years when these lot have bred.
  20. if you had the metal gaskets re use them with a bit of paste, no problem
