  2. Zully has L2 XTT how cool is that?!! L 2X TT when spaced properly
  3. get a dateless irish plate
  4. is it very thin cf with double sided on the back? I would mind getting a set
  5. This anything like the smz?
  6. bolts that will or might need to come off marked in red
  7. Its pretty straght forward. Took me about 2 hours to do the first time, could probably do it again in about an hour. The suspension wont fall out or anything, all the rods do is pull the wheels forwards and keep them tight on the horizontal plain. You do need the wheels off the ground so put the car on stands. Remove the rear plastic engine undertray 6x 10mm bolts. The tension rods are bolted the to suspension arms with 2 bolts on each one. Just go ahead and undo these. Then you need to take the long bolts out that go through the bush. These are 17mm nuts and bolts, you will need to reuse these so take care with them, they can be pretty tight. Depending on your intercooler setup you may not be able to get these bolts out easy as the stock intercooler pipework is in the way, tends to be on the drivers side. What i did was unbolted the 2 12mm bolts on the front antiroll bar and then the 2 17mm bolts on the bracket that holds it all to the car. The whole lot drops down then and the bolt can easily be removed. Once you have the tension rod off you can adjust your new ones to the same length, dont forget to grease the threads on them. Refittment is reverse of removal. :)
  8. cars are so cheap to buy now would be better to buy one ready done Have a look at this one http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/73964.htm Then you could sell yours and finish it off with the money saved, get it coverted to manual etc Its the fastest colour too!
  9. Take the stat out and test it in some very hot water normally says on the stat what temp it will open at, check it with a thermometer find the leak as well and change the pipe, might be a small crack that doesn t leak till the pressure gets up If the coolant system is not pressurised due to a small leak then the water will boil and the car will overheat anyways your water pump is belt driven so it will be spinning, worst that can happen with these is a broken blade or failed bearing but you would hear it grinding.
  10. clutch + flywheel underdrive pullys set of gauges how many miles have your turbos done?
  11. They just look a bit poorly made / fitted. If they were ever so slightly oval and flush to the bumper they would be much better I just like things that are interesting and different. Anyone can buy off the shelf mods for a car with no real skill or effort. the ferrari f40 had a triple exit exhaust
  12. 13 is water temp sender i think Yes your car would over fuel if the ecu doesnt know the water temp
  13. The 6 pipe exhaust is interesting, I know its a bit over the top but i kinda like it as its different. (I like different, you seen my spolier lol) Wouldn't take much to get it looking good. Remove those silly arches, different wheels, maybe the front bumper, respray candy red of course and change everything inside from gold to chrome. Sorted
  14. Well I have tried plan a, heated with blow torch and tried removing with stud extractor. That just broke the extractor. plan b, weld a nut on and undo, this just snapped the stud again leaving it almost flush. now its plan c! grind the b&*tards flush and drill them out, then will nut and bolt it instead had enough now!
  15. Just build your own external drive get a caddy for about 20 quid and then stick a hdd in it at least that way you know you have a decent quality drive in it no cheap hitachi rubbish - seagates every time
  16. I had a 2.0 8v rt laguna for 4 years, now the mrs has it, its done 50k miles in our possesion (total 160k) and is the most reliable car we have ever had. I am looking for a new run about now. Its either going to be another laguna or a 406. Got my mind set on a diesel 406 estate with a tow bar.
  17. its the controller for my shift lights
  18. that satin ball cost £4 from fleebay, its solid too
