  1. Well maybe its me but looking at wiring diagram seems as the actuator control box is wired to the ignition switch, meaning the ecu must play a part in it when the speed increases, sends signal to actuator, the hand brake allso does same so this must in turn be there for driver preference at any speed!what ya think:confused: :D
  2. Page 26 of the online manual shows this, more detail on page 25;) http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=ra&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=26&design=default&total=35

  7. If you still get a little vibration at high speed could be worth getting wheels balanced while there on the car,in fact all of them, that way it will sort out any vibration and imbalance caused by suspension/wheels etc, after of course tightening to correct torque;)
  8. Pete, are you using the original jap aerial lead with the two prong type connectors,if so it wont work, you need a converter still:confused:

  12. There does seem a slight delay from first to second but being an auto they can do that, you would improve it i think if you were to fit a HKS ALC,would maintain the line pressure far better, just a thought;)

  16. Get under car, pref with a torch, see if the weld continues across chassis from sill join, check for fresh under seal in area to,if in doubt get someone to do proper check,ie laser chassis alignement etc, could be ok but i bought a XR3i long time ago, looked the biz, allways pulled to the left, after wheel alignements still same ,got it proffesionaly checked, found to be out from back to front of chassis, basicaly car was crabing,on further investigation was found to be 2 different halves of a XR3i welded together, you never know:(
