mmmmmmm,i was sure that John had not had them on Z long before i bought it,agree with ya on the EBC Blacks,but at time had no choice,but they dont give off anywhere near as much dust as the Porterfield,but the Porterfield are the way to go;)

James300,smw1,you could settle this at the Zclub meet on the 18th at the Pod:D :D ,Just to add to the confusion,my engine came out of a manual,and i have JWT 500's,but the car is an auto,performs differently to my other true auto's,must be something to do with the cam in the manual motor;)

I had the Porterfield pads up to around 6 weeks ago,they were excellent,but have had new EBC Black Kevlar fitted (not as good but needed some quick!)one thing about the Porterfield,they ware down quick and give off loads of dust,but will defo be fitting them again!Tony:)

As long as you have a de-cated zorst system LRP will do no harm,will do more harm to your wallet at the prices it sells for,my local charges £1.10p a litre,:eek:

auto's can theoreticaly do 201mph unrestricted acording to Nissan,unrestricted that is with a very long run!!I did hit 180 with my SWB that i had ,speedo was prob out a bit to,but only for a few seconds,that was with an unknown Jap eprom fitted and a ALC ,way too fast,at them speeds its nerve wracking and fookin dangerous on the highway in the middle of the night:D :D ;)

It was on Z when i got it Pete,just never got round to taking it off,mind you its so small,can hardly see it!!!:D ;)

Just finished work at 3pm,need to shop,turn into One Stop shopping area on Ashby Fields in Daventry,what do i see in front of me,black Z,G plate ,was right behind you and we both left the carpark(no spaces per normal,chaos,as kids comming out a school)you then turned left at roundabout,me turning right,went passed you,you just saw me as i tooted,you were on your pink mobile at the time,Z looked in excellent order,any one on here i wonder!;)

Ammar,to install would not be to difficult,i was present when it was done,the guy who did it did scrape his arms n knuckles a bit(common thing with a Z:D )plus you could allways copy mine under bonnet so to speak,if you do it yourself i have the English instructions i can copy and send to you;) ,Tony

DaveW this is the HKS install i have,display unit on left of console,bottom right is the controll unit,above that turbo timer;)

I have the EVC 5,looks and performs excellent,but they all do mostly the same job,be warned,the EVC5 comes with Japanese instructions and is total bollox to work out(beats me why they dont print it in english considering how many are sold here!)but it so happens that i have got my hands on the english translation and fitting instructions,all 14 pages(easy to set up with this info)with a revised/updated set up by Mr Ohtsuki at HKS,soon as i have time i will post it all up or if someone would like for me to mail it to them they could put it up on there site etc would be handy for others if fitting thier own.;)

Funny that,was thinking to myself about how much they can take,done over 500 miles this month on what seems to be a well fooked engine as you know Jeff,but it keeps goin and to be honest performs realy well(except when cold for first minute,bit of a rattle if ya know what i mean)and still great oil pressure!!well impressed!so much so that i am even going to the pub meet in it on sunday.(as for so called dealers,i say again 80% are just total shite when it comes to buyin a Z):D

Remember watching the years highlights on Motors TV other week,think it was GT Series,A black Diablo pissed all over the Ferraris and everything else,on corners the Ferrari would catch up,but on the straights this Diablo was fecking awsome,and one hell of a mean mother,think i have watched it 4 times on there since and i love it,Diablo=masse's of respect!:D
