  1. If Tiff needel says the 350 is virtualy as good as the new 911 round the track, I think it is a done deal! You may need forged pistons, up to you, if you have £500 spare I would get them! You don't need stronger con rods or sport cams or springs! And I think on any engine rebuild you would sling in new bearings and gaskets! Don't worry about sport 500 turbos, waste of space, it is either 530's or pe1420's!
  2. Skiing is just a continual cycle of hurting yourself, imbetween bouts of moving downhill very quickly! :D
  3. Yes it is at the mo as it is nearly finished, if I chose to do a straightforward conversion, then it would be finsihed a lot quicker, but I think all the little mods have cost me time!
  4. Don't even go there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Yes it is an aftermarket intercooler! Nice one mate, saved yourself a few quid there!!
  6. No the brake test does damage the LSD, my examiner just passed mine, haven't heard of the other test!
  7. eerrmmmmmm, dunno about that smithy, the construction of an oil breather system for the Zed is a subject of much controversy and shutting them of could be a source of potential problems! Not saying you are wrong, would just like to know more about it, before doing it! (said the deviant :slap: )
  8. Hello Mate, They are the breather pipes that return internal engine fumes to the engine intake so they are not returned to atmosphere! I suggest you use JB weld available from Halfords, it is like araldite but formulated for metal and high temp use, make sure you get a good seal around the joints though!
  9. Went Skiing last week, haven't got uprated anti roll bars!! Consequently am looking for the new Nismo Uprated achilles tendon RH side Only!!!!
  10. Hi, I am keeping the NA loom, on my NA to TT conversion! Since the NA does not have the PRVR system, I was wondering if this would cause a problem with the TT ECU looking for, and not finding the PRVR system, and not giving it some sort of a signal?
  11. Cheers Mac, Was trying to avoid that, may sound picky but it seemed to detract from the purpose of the ducting. have found that Stillen sell some thinner indicators and also a bulb holder with the wiring feed from the side, might go for that!
  12. eerrr cheers Gio!!!!!!!!!!! In reality it is a firearm or explosive so my guess would be to give it the local police or they will know where to go with it! DO NOT LET IT OFF! If anyone does recognise it for what it is, they will uselessly call out the emergency services, and then the person who set it off could be charged! Secondly if someone is in real need of the emergency service, then their local response team will be preoccupied and a team further away will take longer to get there! Also what people dont realise is that fireworks and flares burn at 1000 degrees, it takes a fraction of a second of skin contact for permaneant scarring to take place, OR WORSE!
  13. I have the pace/SE Nissan ones! Stu, the place where sidelight would sit would mean a hole in the middle of the ducting?
  14. Got some aftermarket intercoolers and, I believe, the ducting fouls on the back of the bulb holder when replacing the Jap spec sidelights, the ones at the outer edge of the front bumper! How have people got around this?
  15. uummmm, Very noisey according to ttvert. and they didn't label which way their pistons should be within the block! If wiseco are saying that then talk to TT vert, but you got them from Z1 who have alleviated the problem! But when I rang Z1 the other day, I could swear I heard the faint echo of a banjo playing in the background and everyone working there was someone's cousin:eek:
  16. NO not worth it, wiseco have not officially altered their design, wiseco original design was flawed. Z1 have improved upon it and hopefully wiseco will follow their lead!
  17. Hi stu, Make sure you get all the rings the right way around as this is crucial, also put the pistons in the block the right way! Also get the NA Oil squirters for the block another crucial element!! Also clear out the water channel flashings in the block of the zed, it will help cool numbers 4,5,6, cylinders!
  18. Could somebody possible email or post these pages to me! I have the manual book, but the diagrams are so small in there, it is impossible to see the intricate diagrams!!
  19. Hi There is something like that but it is cylindrical and has a solenoid near the battery tray which looks like it is something to do with boost:confused:
  20. Bloody Nora that makes PE1420's about £1400:D :D :D  I will have to strike up a better relationship with my bank manager;)
  21. If you want The Gauge, go for Defi! Completely black out when ignition is off and come to life when you turn the ignition on!
  22. I think there is something like that bolted to the inner wing, I will have a look today, cheers tony!
  23. eeerrrrr stepper motor:eek: My mind at the moment is a maze of Nissan parts and service manuals, I wouldn't know what a stepper motor was if it bit me on the A**e It is still on the donor car somewhere, wehre do people usually put them?
  24. Cheers Bruce! I need a Manicure!!!!!
  25. I thought the solenoids gave you safety boost when activated by the ECU, so they should give 9psi when not connected?
