  1. Congrats Stu! Everyone knows his enthusiasm for the car, the club and I have every confidence in him as he's a bloody decent chap :hyper: BTW he only left Billing at lunchtime Mon, so give him a chance guys! Commiserations to Jock
  2. Sounds like it might be easier to pull the engine :p
  3. Gio, I presume you know that you have to remove the engine to change the detonation sensor? In my opinion you may as well buy an aftermarket det warning system, I believe the RX7 guys have knowledge on these, or relocate the original sensor to the another location?

You'll need the ZX fuel pump and fuel controller, don't worry about the metal head gaskets, they always fail on a zed!
  9. Get your arse into gear and fix it then ;)

some people say it can take 5-600, some people say it can't, there are so many variables that can affect an engine's longevity, that it is hard to say! what benifits would i see having a vg30 powerd car, over an RB powerd one which can deffo take 500bhp on the stock bottom end I can't really see any, apart from the fact you may have more cash in your pocket, as the parts are cheaper for the VG30dett, if you are doing a conversion?

eerr off the top of my head after a bottle of wine! Doolz intake HKS exhaust Greddy TDOS18g 700CC +injectors RPS Twin plate clutch Greddy intercoolers John Dixon to map it Koyo Rad Forged pistons Mocal Oil Cooler
  12. No 1 priority get your car running right. Next air filter Then exhaust Then a new JD chip and boost controlller Then you will need a new uprated clutch. If you wanna protect your engine, then get bigger intercoolers, bigger rad and bigger oil cooler. If you wanna protect the car and you, get R33 discs and brakes, Stilen Anti roll bars and racelogic traction control. If you wanna protect the medium which is giving you all this advice then join the club?
  13. I think the Billing aquadrome are the ones to blame, as Claire and John could not even negotiate a decent discount for prebookings! The aquadrome did not even have the foresight to see that if they take enough prebookings then they and jae and everyone will benefit from the enterprise!
  14. I thought it was £6 a day last year!

  17. Here's mine, if I forgot all logic about living in London :D The new Z centre front bumper, can't remember what it's called now! Se bonnet and centre panel, same as crazy eddies, if it will fit with the zed centre jobbie? ChrisC's sideskirt and wide arse combo. Wingswest Rear bumper. kaminari rear spoiler or the stillen one (flat type), or the newest zed centre one :D Will really have to try to remember all these body part styling names :D Oh Yeah and chopping the roof ORRFFFFFF
  18. From the feedback I have had on other forums most aftermarket BB turbos come with an adaptor which fits onto your current oil pipe, giving the necessary feed to your bearings!
  19. from what I think is right, the BB has a higher pressure spray and the normal thrust bearing has more flow but less pressure?
  20. Yeah OK I know it ain't a drip feed, I will use the exact terminology next time :p
  21. If you're injectors are maxing out, it is not a very desirable position for the engine to be in!
  22. Hi Ajay, Can I pick up my keyring and stickers at Billing as well?
  23. I have heard a few rumours regarding this! One is that on a BB turbo the oil is sprayed onto the Ball Bearings and requires a different oil feed pipe to do this? On a normal thrust bearing turbo, it is more of a drip feed, anyone know for sure?
  24. Upping the fuel pressure too high, means it delays the injectors opening so throwing the fuelling out!
